Luxury villa on the Tuscan Coast of Monte Argentario
This luxury property
is situated on the Tuscan coast, between Capalbio and Orbetello,
1,5 km from the sea. The nearest town is Orbetello, at thefoot of the Argentario peninsula.
This area is one of the most exclusive areas in Italy, close to
the tourist marina of Cala Galera and to the houses of the Queen
of Holland and the owner of the Fiat Gianni Agnelli, recently disappeared. |

Villa Settefinestre,
national monument built in the 15thcentury by the Spanish on Roman
ruins of the first century before Christ, is well known to be the
most beautiful house in the area.
It is was a Spanish fortress and was restored in the seventies by
Paolo Portoghesi, a famous Roman architect. |
In the garden there
are the ruins of one of the most important roman villas of the first
century before Christ,with beautiful fortified walls and a big "Criptoportico".
An important exhibition was held in the museum of Palazzo Braschi
in Rome (try to digit Sette Finestre on the web). |

The house is surrounded
by a large garden and a marvellous swimming pool depurated with
oxygen (no chlorine).

Several books and an entire page onthe Italian Treccani Enciclopedia
were written on the Roman villa, one of the |
most studied archaeological
site in central Italy, and an important exhibition was held in the
museum of Palazzo Braschi in Rome.
The house has a surface of 1000 square metres (11.00 square feet),
with 7 bedrooms ( 2 double beds, one queen and 2 king size two single
rooms), seven bathrooms, and two single bedrooms for the domestic
staff. |

Nine hectares land
with centenary olive trees and one hectare of garden surround the
house.
The house has a marvellous old Tuscan cotto flooring.
All rooms are furnished with antiques and art peaces.
The living room is 200 sq m large, and the dining room is large
as well. |
Near the house there
is the house of the Gardner, built in the 18th century.
