Villa Amerina sleeps 4 Amelia

Detached country house a few km from Rome and from Bracciano lake

Villa Amerina is a fully air-conditioned charming 2 levels villa, lovingly built by the owner, a gentle lady usually living in Rome, as the perfect holiday home in a peaceful oasis, at an hour driving distance from the Capital and near to the most suggestive art cities in Umbria, like Todi, Assisi, Perugia, Narni.

A long, covered porch,well equipped with a barbecue and close to the oak trees, , is the comfortable place where to relax and dine al fresco. The property is rich in fruit trees and 60 olive trees, for home needs extra virgin olive oil production. The olive oil is not on sale, but the owner will be pleased to offer to the guests a taste as a souvenir if a quiet and high quality holiday.

Villa Amerina has high standard fixtures, as wooden beamed ceilings, cotto flooring and warm colour painted walls, elegant country-style and traditional furniture, as well as coordinated textures chosen for curtains, bedspreads and so on. The whole gives to the guests the immediate feeling of harmony and good taste, welcoming them in the heart of Italy.

The living room with fireplace, with TVsat, has a dining area and an open kitchen, fully equipped also with dishwasher and all pottery and cutlery. On the ground floor, also a useful laundry room with washing machine, a bathroom with shower and a well equipped gym, all with access to the garden.

On the first floor, the private area with a double bedroom with french door to the small balcony and a twin bedroom, both very nice and accurate and another bathroom with shower. The house is air-conditioned and centrally heated. The owner can arrange for extra charge a cleaning service, as well as cooking lessons for the guests. No telephone and ADSL available on the premises. The garden has a place for car parking. Guests are suggested to take some time to go visit the area, as the property is right in the middle of an area of great interest and beauty, rich in history and art. The small village of Fornole and Amelia are extremely close, with bars, bank, post office and shops. The Marmore spectacular Water Falls are only about 50 km away and definitely deserve the visit.

The art cities of Todi, considered among the Italian towns where life standard is highest, or Perugia, Orvieto and the medieval Narni are few kilometers far, as well as the renown Assisi, birthplace of San Francis and site of pilgrimage from all over the world. The Trasimeno Lake is about 110 km and Rome International airport 104 km. Guests flying to Italy can easily pick up a car and drive to the place where their italian holiday will mean comfort, beauty, quietness and the freedom to choose different destinations every day.
