The villa, a fully A/C restored ancient stone house
with pool is located halfways between the sea and the village, 2
km from Mirto with a charming view of the Fitalia Valley and of
the blue sea where the Aeolian islands seem to float.
The house is simple, with wooden beamed ceilings and spacious rooms. Wonderful views can be enjoyed from all windows.
Hidden in the quiet peace of the orange groves, this villa with pool is particularly appreciated for its peaceful setting, perfect to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

Situated
between two valleys, the village of Mirto sits on a hill 428 meters
on the sea level, 4 km from the sea in front of the Aeolian Islands,
19 km from Capo D'Orlando.
A beautiful peaceful countryside where the extraordinary images
of lush vegetation made of hazel and chestnut trees, olive groves
and orchards are the relaxing surrounding of this small village
with only 1.200 inhabitants that counts 9 beautiful churches and
many Chapels in the countryside.

The name Mirto comes from the characteristic myrtle plant, an evergreen bush and an important resource for the economy of the place, beeing the base for the homonymous flavoured liquor and a spice used in local cooking.
The house, displayed on one level, has been restored in its original
stone structure and consists of: two double,bedrooms, a large living
room with double sofabed and kitchenette opening on the terrace
and two bathrooms (one with bath, an the other with shower) for
total 6 sleeps.
The furnishing, with antiques, is warm and informal.
Parking is inside the property.

The
garden is very large and the swimming pool (5 x 9m) is open from
May to September and furnished with table and chairs for refreshing
dinners.
The villa strategic location makes it easier to reach in two hours
drive other famous Sicilian towns and sites, such as Etna volcano
, Taormina, Alcantara flume, the Roman Villa of Piazza Armerina,
Siracusa, Acireale, Noto, Cefalu, Palermo ecc.

Near to S. Gregorio, the animated life of Capo
d'Orlando from where hydrofoils connect in short time with the Aeolian
islands, in short drive to the charming little Nebrodi fishermen
harbor, the large beaches, and the Nebrodi Park, with its thick
forest of beeches, the small lakes of the Bivicre and, in the clear
days, the imposing view of Etna. Driving through the panoramic roads
of Nebrodi and of the near valleys will be worth to visit the nearby
characteristic archaeological sites of the Nebrodi (Fragala, S.
Marco d'Alunzio, S. Salvatore of Fitalia, Tortorici, Ficarra).

The villa is very comfortable and beeing on one level, particularly suitable for a family with childern or elders.
