In the
dependences of one of the most beautiful villas on the Lake Maggiore
some ancient buildings such as a former wood store room, a greenhouse
and a deposit of agricultural utensils have been restructured. Each
became a small residence full of charm and of memoirs of the past,
with balconies, green spaces and with access to the English style
nineteenth-century park, famous for his camellias, rododendris and
azaleas. |
They are substantially different each other for design, placement,
colors, furnishing, number of beds and because they have been realized
exploiting preexisting spaces built in different epochs; The owner
put a touch of warmth using old furniture from the villa and with
objects and nicknacks found in the drawers of the great villa or
purchased in the small antiques-markets in the area.

This is a 95 sq m apartment is remarkably charming, with vaults
and arcs in the original red pompeiano.
Very beautiful the large private terrace with lemon trees enjoying
a splendid sight of the island St. Giovanni holiday abode of Toscanini.
The dinette-kitchen, realized in an eighteenth-century woodstore
with vaulted ceiling, is endowed with dishwasher, refrigerator,
oven and 4 burners.

The bath has bath and is realized slightly on an inferior level,
on an ancient bricks-well.
The double bed is in a separate alcove, with possibility to entertain
host 1 or 2 more on a sofabed and anadditioal small bed.
Camellia can be connected with Azalea to form a greater
apartment, sleeps 4+3. |

Interesting 90 sq m on the first and secondlevelapartment
Both floors have access from the garden and are connected each
other by an interior staircase, built in a portico that was a
sawmill the ancient stone structures of the 18th century can be
seen. On the upper level is the living area, with a kitchenette
endowed with refrigerator, 4 burners, oven and dishwasher. |
Back to a curtain a few steps leads down to a large room connected
with the garden This becomes the "limonaia" during winter
and the double bedroom with possibility of a third bed during
Spring/Summer. Two small balconies facing a small camellia woods
through wich is appears the lake are perfect for a breakfast or
a sun bath.

Azalea, sleeps 2+2
A very rational 85sq.m apartment, just on the garden and with
an ample paved parterre, with bougainvillea, lemons and grapevines
plants.
It is made of a livingroom, dinette and kitchenette equipped with
oven, 3 burners and refrigerator, a large double bedroom with
view on the garden and a second twin bedroom with closet and table
with chair; the bath has shower. |
Garden is very suitable for disabled, for whom is allowed the
access by car till the apartment.
The main villa is one of the most famous on the lake Maggiore.
The owner itself will be glad to welcome you and to arrange a
