This charming country
house, in a pictoresque 550m ASL village of the shady Ombrone Valley,
is not far from the historical Tuscan cities and from the seashores,
therefore an ideal spot for quiet off-the-beaten-track holidays.
The stunning view of the valley is a house treasure together with
the silence of the chestnut woods nearby. |
| The centennial oaks
near to the beautiful swimming pool and to the furnished garden
equipped with a barbecue to relax and enjoy meals, keep the guests
comfortably out of the crowd, hidden to others by the surrounding
woodlands and delighted by the natural fragrances of lavender and
other herbs. |

The village is only
12 Km away from Pistoia and is therefore an excellent base to explore the major
cities in Tuscany such as Florence, Lucca, Pisa and Siena that are
within reach.
The two levels house hosts 4 to 12
people. |
A large livingroom
with a hearth is on the first floor, furnished with typical Tuscan
antique furniture and TV Satellite, a twin sofabed and a very big
and well supplied library.
The kitchen is small but well equipped, the bathroom has a bath
and the twin bedroom has a third bunk bed. |

On the second floor
a very large double bedroom has a stand that separates 2 further
single beds.
Another double bedroom has a beautiful view on the garden and swimmingpool,
while the third is a single bedroom with French size bed.
The two bathrooms have shower. |
The swimmingpool is open from June to September 30th, weather permitting.
The seaside is not far from the village;
Viareggio, the famous resort, is only an hour away and definetely
is worth the visit, together with Forte dei Marmi and the whole
reknown Versilia, with its miles of beaches appreciated by the international
jet set.
You can as well enjoy exploring the valley, taking long walks, trekking,
or cycling round the many pictoresque mountain villages, so rich
in history and tradition, for unforgettable days. |
