In the highest part of the Metauro Valley, among the most picturesque sites in Montefeltro, The Villa in The Duke's Valley, a very big country resort, shows its unique rustic style, 1 mile from Urbania, a small town that gave birth to Bramante, and produced beautiful pottery during the Reinassance. At that time the town was called Casteldurante, a summer resort and hunting field for the Dukes of Urbino.

The country house was built at the beginning of 19th century. In the large lawn which surrounds the house there are a (15 x 6 x 1,35-1,60 m) swimming pool - equipped with sun umbrella and deck chairs - and a regular tennis court.
Close to the pool a capanno with fridge and a barbecue. A nice portico out of the house with a bread oven for outside dinner or lunch.

Close to the tennis court a paddock with boxes can host the horses brought by the guests or rented by the near riding centre, on request.
3 kms far a club for ultralight aircraft will wait for you bringing your own or renting there.

A net of 250 km of paths for horse riding and mountain bike or trekking pass through the Duke's valley.
The Villa in The Duke's Valley lies in a very special geographical position, of great artistic and cultural interest, surrounded by a lovely landscape.

Urbino, Fano, San Leo, Gubbio, San Marino, Gradara, Pesaro, Rimini, Arezzo, San Sepolcro, Ravenna and Perugia are only a few kilometers away(min. 15 minutes, max. 1 hour's drive). Riccione 50 kms far.

The country house has six double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with shower; a large living room , a study with fireplace and playcards table, a large dining room and a TV room (no sat, sorry).
Fully equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, freezer, oven, and an utility room with washing-machine.
Additional bed can be added for extra, in 3 double bedrooms.
A maid service is included every day for two hours and a cook will be available (euro 60 + food and wine bills or Euro 30 about per person all included) for meals preparing on request.

The house has a further suite that can be rented for extra, composed by a room with a sofabed and kitchenette corner, en-suite bathroom and a beamed mezzanine with two beds.
A cot is available.
