La Falesia is situated on a suggestive promontory
on the sea, with private access to the beach, along the Via Flacca,
not far from the nice medieval town of Gaeta. The bay is set between
the long beaches of san Vito-Arenatura and Sant'agostino and it
is accessible descending 150 steps across the cliff, with spectacular
view to the Saracine Tower on the sea. The area is quite famous
and very exclusive for this astounding corner, If the steps would
result not suitable for children, families can choose the larger
well equipped beaches just outside the main gate ot this residential
quarter. |
| The residential park
consists of barely 5-6 villas, quite and panoramic, sharing the
private access to the sea. The villa La Falesia is 500 metres far
from the main gate, all immersed in the green, on one level, surrounded
by a large Mediterranean garden to be lived intensely, as it is
equipped with deckchairs and 2 tables made out of stone wheels once
used for a mill. The portion of the house given for rental is a
detached apartment consisting of a living room, a small kitchen,
two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, one of which ensuite and a separate
independent room with bathroom, that can host 2 people, as it has
a single bed with sliding extra bed, for a total of 6 sleep. |

The owners very rarely
use the other portion of the villa and their presence is quite reserved,
as it is reserved all the atmosphere of ths residential park
The apartment given for rental has modern essential furniture, as
it is meant to be mainly lived outside, yet the fittings are of
high level, with hand painted Vietri tiles.
The living room has
large french windows to the gardes, with sofas, tv sat and a dining
area with table and chairs. |
The kitchen is small but equipped with
all necessary for a pleasant stay, with a 4 gas cooker and microwave;
there is also a small place for washing machine and frigobar.
The main bathroom is with bath, the second in the bedroom is
with shower, like the one in the independent room outside.
The house is centrally heated and stores water in tanks, so it is
not suitable for alimentary use, For this purpose is recommended
to store bottled waters.

The nearest shops are reachable in minuted by car, as the park is
situated at about 5 kms from the town, but the entire area displays
several restaurants, markets, bars, where is possible to make one's
weekly or daily supplies.
The position is certainly among the most suggestive in the area
and it will be likely to desire staying home enjoying the quiteness
and the beauty of the nature, but we suggest that guests take some
time to go out and discover the many naturalistic, archaeological
and artistic sites around the park. |
| The medieval town of
Gaeta, to start with, only 5 kms far, to go browsing the fascinating
medieval center, the folkloristic via Indipendenza, as well as the
near Mount Orlando with the Holy Mountain. The infinite sequence
of beaches, long, wide, tiny, hidden or public, open or with bathing
stations (Ariana, San Vito, Scissure, Arenauta) in the direction
of Gaeta, or the ones towards the beautuful town of Sperlonga (Sant'Agostino,
Torre Capobeto).

Even going north, towards the National Park of
Circeo, guests will find beautiful landscapes, sandy beaches and
important archaeological ruins, like the Tiberius Grotto and Mount
Giove Anxur. Going south Formia and Minturno with remainings of
Roman presence, in the Minturnae theatre, the Caposele port and
Villa Rubino.
We suggest that the guests do not limit their visit to the coastal
area, as the medieval town of Itri, the Mount Cassino Abbey and
the woinderful Oasis of Ninfa are worth entering the more internal
areas. |
| Besides the beauties
of the region, we believe that a vacation in any place is not complete
without getting to know the local products. Fish, of course, but
the renowned juicy tomatoes, the exquisite DOP mozzarella with buffalo
milk, the typical local pastry named TIELLA, made only in this area,
stuffed with local vegetables, olives and prawns, are delicatessen
that nobody should miss. And do not forget the fantastic wines!
