Located on the hilly land in the
immediate proximity of the coast of the Tuscan Maremma, the old
Tuscan classic farm house dating to the 18th century and recently
refurbished to a good standard, is now divided into 2 holiday apartments
that can give accommodation to a group of friends or two families
of 11 people |
The large spaces, the country peace and quietness, the warmth of the ensemble make this property one of the best for a very relaxing holiday in Tuscany, living indeed the charm and delight of its past, but with comfort.
The woods are full of hiking trails and paths for walks, cycling and horseback riding. |

Lovers of fine food and wines will be delighted to taste the typical regional cuisine, seasonally changing, based principally on local agriculture and fishing, the best Mediterranean cooking they can offer. The beautiful sandy beaches of the Maremma coast are very close and daily excursions to the islands of Elba, Pianosa, Capraia and Monte Cristo are possible.

The farmhouse is 4 Km from a medieval village: Montecatini Val di
Cecina; and near the sea (25 Km). It is not far from most
important Tuscan cities: Firenze, Pisa, Siena, Lucca and Livorno.
Le Piane has a garden provided with outside furniture for dining and living "al fresco".The house is decorated in the typical Tuscan style and it has preserved the warmth and the atmophere of a typical Tuscan farmhouse.

On the ground floor a wide living-room with a beautiful fire place built in the typical tuscan style and a kitchen. On the first floor two bedrooms, one of which with a double bed and a single one and a bathroom.

On the ground floor the kitchen.
Two bedrooms, one of which with a double bed and a single one. A bathroom and a living room are on the first floor. The living room has a large fireplace.

Both flats together make a large apartment that can accommodate up to 10-11 people.
The guests can enjoy the countryside, . Not far from the house there are many facililities. : in the village of Montecatini there are restaurants and pizzerias, a swimming pool is just 9 kms far and the fine Etruscan coast with the best Tuscan sea 25 km away.
The house is very close to the Etruscan, Roman and Medieval town of Volterra. |
