CASA DEI LAURI is an early 19th century charming farmhouse, lovingly restored with wooden beams and cotto flooring, located in the old part of the village Illasi, 20 km from Verona East.This lovely house enjoyes a peaceful atmosphere, due to the relaxing view of the cultivated fields, with olive trees, vineyards and cherry trees and of the ancient castle on top of the hill.
The house is encircled by a stone wall guaranteeing privacy to the guests.

The house is on two levels of about 50 sq m and the small garden is very well kept.

-A double bedroom with a third bed on a mezzanine.

PLACES TO VISIT

At short distance you will appreciate:
- the ancient Thermal SPAS of Giunone in Caldiero, located in a park with centennial trees and large green spaces. It is equipped with tennis courts, swimming pools, Jacuzzi and talassotherapy;
- the town of Soave, surrounded by a medieval wall, with its charming castle, is the production area for its well known homonymous white wine. A small market of antiques is held the third Sunday of the month;

- Bolca, famous for its museum of fossil finds showing that the area was once at the bottom of the sea!
- The natural park of the Lessinia, with the mountains of the Carega, where the Cimbra history and traditional culture are the background of a ski resort, rich of trekking, horse backing and mountain bike activity during the summer.

The house is only 20 kms far from the artistic city of Verona, a charming town that William Shakespeare made popular to the world with his Poem "Romeo and Juliet", a masterpiece about two young lovers born from noble Verona families hostile one to the other. A trip to the city discovering the spots where the poem was placed will be a romantic and cultural experience.
Absolutely to mention the Arena, the ancient Roman theatre, where international events like concerts, lyrics, ballet take place during spring and summer, with reservations to be taken long before need. A visit to this magical place should not be missed.
Venice, Padua, the Palladian Brenta Villas, the lake of Garda and all the Veneto Region are easily reachable.
