Location:

PUNTA ROSSA very good sleeps 5

San Felice Circeo

There is a lighthouse on the coast of San Felice Circeo, the nice small village by the sea, where high class Romans have built their summer residences and where they usually spend their holidays, mostly in August. This spectacular place and the hill behind it is the most renomated and requested, with lush green and elegant villas with direct access to the shore.
Here, in a private residential area, is the house Punta Rossa.

Punta Rossa is a small villa with a large private space outside (200 sqmt), built with patios on front and on the back, in order to assure the maximum comfort during summer times. The house is in a quiet position and has also private access to the sea.

The spectacular view to the sea. the suggestive landscape of bush of myrthle, brooms, holms, assuring a complete privacy, the houses well inserted in a private park, sharing the parking area (1 car each property) and the 150 mt descending path to the sea, this is what appears to the visitors.
Its great private position makes necessary to reach the centre of the village, 1.5 km far, by car. All shops and the beach clubs are in town or close to it, It is little bother comparing to the stunning beauty of this superb and renomated site.

The access to the sea actually consists of small platforms and slides for boats, easy to use even for children. The shore in this suggestive cliff is rocky but the beaches are reachable either by dinghy or small boats, or by car shortly.
The house has a simple structure, it is on one level, built according to the pleasant mediterranean style, which features the typical marine white and blue colours; the sea and the green mediterranean bush assure to the whole a suggestive atmosphere.

The house has on same level a living room with fireplace, tv and stereo, and large french door opening to one patio, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and washing machine and a kichenette with the door opening to the patio in the back.
The kitchen has electric oven, fridge and dishwasher.
The bedrooms are one with doublebed and one with three beds, two of which are bunkbeds.

Punta Rossa is simple, with handy and nice white wicker and wooden furniture but has all needed for a comfortable vacation by the sea.
The space outside is cared, the garden is wide and the two patios are actually the real heart of the house, where guests can have breakfast, dine, share conversation or simply relax staring at the beautiful nature in front of them.
The patios are nicely built with brickwork sittings and colourful cushions.
There is a shower outside for guests convenience. .
For any problem that may occur to the house or to the garden when guests are there, the owner assures the presence of a trustworthy person, who will take care of it.

Distances:
- the fishermen village of Sperlonga with the ruins of the villa of the Emperor Tiberius where the Laocoonte sculpture was found, - 15 kms
- Terracina with its extraordinary Roman temple of Jupiter Anxur on its Pisco Montano- 10 km
San Felice is positioned in between the unmissable towns of Rome and Naples, at daily visit distances (around 100 kms)

All the coast is rich of fun and nightlife when required, although a vacation here can be as well quiet and reserved in one's privacy.
Not far is a riding center and just out of the town of San Felice the National Park of Circeo with its guided visits to the forest.

On the other side of the promontory there are white sand dunes between the lake (flamingos in spring up to beginning June) and sea, down to the Sabaudia village. On the lake canoes' rental is available.
Within 30 km reach. visits to Ninfa botanic garden, Fossanova Abbey and the nice town of Sermoneta.
Hydrofoils (one hour) and motorships sail daily from the harbours of San Felice and Terracina towards the wonderful island of Ponza. Not to be missed a visit to all the Pontine Islands, with Ponza itself, but also Ventotene, Palmarola, Santo Stefano and Zannone (Sea Preservation Area)
