A modern villa built by an Architect in 1954 in a marvellous location, was completely restructured and sapiently refurbished in 2007 yr by the current owners, them too a couple of Architects, to become a splendid unique villa of contemporary design, just a stone's throw from the Amalfi centre. It is now an exclusive interesting base to enjoy in full relax the Amalfi/Sorrentine Peninsula and its stretch of unforgettable coast

A characteristic and easy stone's staircase (150 steps) descend from the coastal road to the sea where the villa lays on the reefs, in a hectare private land.
The villa is five minutes out of Amalfi centre by car, taxi or bus. 20 minutes walking (one and half km.)
The sumptuous interiors have been sapiently created harmonizing valuable pieces made by famous Design Masters with Moroccan, Chinese and Indian items.

Outside, one after the other, terraces follow overlooking from different levels the sea, Amalfi, the ancient Santa Rosa Convent (1539), the reef and the villa Ponti, belonged to Sofia Loren e Carlo Ponti.
On the road, close to the stone staircase leading to the villa, the nice Church Madonna Della Potenza often is the place where the gests arrange their wedding. While the seaside garden of the villa and the private dock could permit the bride to arrive from the sea in an unusual scenic ceremony.

DESCRIPTION
The villa has a surface of 280 sqm has seven double bedrooms each with en-suite bathroom with shower and/or bath, hairdry, tastely furnished, with panoramic sea view, A/C and heating, mini bar, TVSat LCD, landline phone, Internet ADSL .
Three bedrooms on the ground level and four on the first floor. A third bed for children can be added in two bedrooms, to a max of 14+2 sleeps.
The ones on the ground level have direct access to the large shared terrace and two have their independent entrance.
The large livingroom with TV Plasma enjoy a panoramic view.

The professional kitchen is fully equipped and the bar has fresh drinks and wines.
An ante bathroom with a sink and the access to two half bath, is close to the livingroom.
Internet wireless is in all shared spaces in and out of the house while each bedroom has ADSL connection.
On the back of the villa is the laundry, with washing/drying machine and clothers horse.

The villa has a cellar with Italian and local wines, champagne. Along the staircase dug in the rock from the road to the sea there are a maxi Jacuzzi heated with solar panels, a sauna with sea view, a gym area and private access to the beach and to the platform on the sea.
The platform is equipped with sun beds and shaded areas.
From the private dock excursions can be arranged and free boats to reach the restaurants of the near beach of Santa Croce.
