This cosy apartment is located in the heart of the historical district of Testaccio, close to Lungotevere, the Tiber River Bank, in an area that, together with Trastevere, on the other side of the bridge, best displays the lively roman lifestyle. During summertime, the river banks are crowded with young people enjoying the nightlife by the unexpensive kiosks, serving drinks, beer and all sort of food; all year round, however, bars, pizzerias, restaurants, clubs, cinemas, theatre, open air markets, the sunday fleas market and all sort of shops, keep the guests always very busy!

Casa Testaccio is placed right in the centre of everything: a recently restored penthouse, with a panoramic 360° view over the square underneath, the Gianicolo Hill (one of roman Seven Hills) and even the Lakes region countryside. The balcony is equipped with table and chairs to enjoy "al fresco" breakfasts or evening meals, as the groceries and the fresh food market are only steps away.
The apartment is comfortably furnished and fully equipped, with air conditioning, central heating and a fireplace for a warm atmosphere.

The style is trendy, with wooden beamed ceilings and parquet covered floorings, in accordance to the spirit of the district. It displays a living area on two levels, with large sofas, TV, CD and DVD, playstation, WI-FI adsl connection, HI-FI with wire broadcasting and air purifier. A cell phone can be rented.
The kitchen, with french door to the furnished balcony, is thoroughly equipped: the table is an elegant bench with 4 stools. The guests will find dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, iron and iron board and a toaster.

The double bed is a foldaway, smoothly sliding under the living level, hidden during daytime. When needed, it is pulled out with no need of further manouvres. Two more beds are eventually available, as a pouff bed and a folding bed can be added in the same room.
The bathroom is equipped with Jacuzzi and high level fittings. Towels will be kept warm by the heating elements.
The apartment has been restored in 2005, using first class equipments.
The building itself has been totally restored during 2004.

A daily cleaning service, as well as massages, can be booked through the owner, for extra charge.
The main square of Testaccio district is just downstairs, full of life and well kept, with high trees. The bus stop is close and the Metro station just off the district. The area is also served all around by a cable bus, to reach the most important and historical sites of Rome, on both sides of the River Tiber.
Guests should not miss to try the very popular roman cuisine and the extrafamous pizzeria on the main square, as the entire district still preserves the genuine roman atmosphere, well blended with the visitors international approach.
