The place is somehow unique, hectares planted with vines in a much wider property, where the renowned Montepulciano Noble Red Wine is produced. The old farm, converted into a sophisticated delightful villa, consists of three buildings, one used to be the main house, with the big stable on ground floor, and the farmers family house on first; the second was used to dry the tobacco leaves (the traditional italian sigar is called "toscano") and the third was the pigsty. |
The renovation, between 2000 and 2003, has converted the whole property, keeping the original farmhouse structure with wooden beamed ceilings, into a beautiful and cosy villa, with modern facilities, a dependance, a big swimming pool and a pool house with changing rooms,
Let us describe the wide spaces outside. The guests will have a private 1 hectare garden for their conveniency, with a 11 x 5 swimming pool and a terrace behind the house with a suggestive furnished vine pergola for their al fresco dinners. a loggia has easy chairs for relax and sunbathing.
A covered well lit parking area is available
The villa stands in the oldest part of the vineyard, where the famous wine produced in the area is still lovingly prepared. The cellars with the casks are shown to the guests under appointment and wine of different vintages, as well as the limited quantity of extra virgin olive oil produced in the property, can be purchased.. |

The property can comfortably sleep 9 people plus 1 extra guest, on a sofabed.
The Main building, on ground floor, where the big stable used to be, now features a hall with armchairs and fireplace, a very large living room with French doors opening on two sides to the garden. The room has comfortable sofas and armchairs, a large dining area with a fully equipped beautiful country kitchen with French windows onto the terrace with the porch, a useful cloakroom and the laundry.
Groups of friends as well as families will find this spacious area absolutely appropriate and comfortable for common use. |
On first floor, a second living room has a big open fireplace and flat TV, 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and a single room, all with ensuite bathroom. The house has been tastefully redecorated and all the bedrooms and the wooden beamed ceilings have different lovely colours.
On first floor a terrace open onto the yard to enjoy a magnificent view.
The dependance, eventually suitable for a couple who would like to be as much independent as possible, has a living room with a sofabed, a breakfast kitchen and a double bed on mezzanine with a bathroom.

The Vineyard is surrounded by 3 villages at a distance of 1 to 3 kms, where to find shops, pharmacies, trattorias, bars, banks and post office. Hospital is in Montepulciano at 5 kms. No other properties will spoil the view over the fields and vineyards from the house.
For those keen on sports, besides cycling which is fantastic to explore the surroundings, tennis courts are available a 1 km in the next village, and guides are available to take you round the area and to show you the best paths to visit the Orcia valley.
The owner can arrange a chauffeur car from e to the train station or a rented car to wait on the premises.
Beautiful countless cities and villages are at short distance, to be visited according to guests convenience, being the closest at 1 km and Rome International Airport at 2,5 hours drive.
