Sea front villa in Carloforte, the quiet holiday Sardinian resort

The name of San Pietro Island is due to a legend that supposes St. Peter, first Pontiff of the Christianity, having arrived and lived here in ancient times. Actually this strong and beautiful island has been formerly a Tunisian territory, given to and colonized by the people from Genoa, in northern Italy, who developed here the trade of corals. The island has incredible white and sometimes pink sandy beaches, rocky cliffs, caves on the sea, a wild and characteristique landscape. The climate is also very comfortable, beeing always ventilated.
San Pietro is reknown as the place with the best beaches in all Sardinia, and its main village, Carloforte, preserves the charm of the antique fisherman village, all white and coloured, together with the pleasure to discover museums, bars, restaurants and all the most comfortable amenities for the visitor.

Half villa
that has been completed in August 2006 as been tastely restored
from a former typical so called "Baracca" of Carloforte, on a hill 400 m far front sea and 3 km from the town. A private path leads to the sea in 10 minutes. Shortly, the house is so structured:
-5 bedrooms, each with two beds (possibility to make it double)
for a total of 10 sleeps
-4 bathrooms one of which en-suite in one of the bedrooms and one
in the area of the livingroom

with open plan kitchen and fireplace
-a very ample porch
-garden with Mediterranean bush
-canes sheltered parking for two cars
-a barbecue in the garden

The
house is on three levels: the 54 sqm groundfloor with livingroom
and open plan kitchenette has a bath; on the first floor there are
two bedrooms sharing a bathroom accessible from both, the 107 sqm
basement (half of the height underground) has three rooms - all
with direct access from the garden - two bathrooms, closet and laundry

100 sqm of the
very large porch are out of the livingroom and further 75 sqm out
of the three bedrooms.
The house is equipped with dishwasher, oven, washer
The groundfloor and the bedrooms on first floor are equipped
with A/C and heating system. within beginning of Summer the lower
floor too will be equipped as well even if it would not be necessary
because already pleasantly fresh.
Guests can enjoy relaxing sunbathing and visiting the island and its naturalistic jewels, beaches and caves on the sea; birdwatching and snorkeling are highly recommended for fauna variety. |
