It is on the "Via Francigena ", the ancient Pilgrims Roman road from North Europe to Rome.

The building has been recently restored at the highest level respecting the traditional atmosphere also with old furniture in a tasteful combination of antiques, with modern comfort.

A panoramic hilly paved road leads to the private lovely, peaceful, fully restored chapel.

The property is a good base for a holiday rich of history and art or to reach the beaches of Viareggio and Forte dei Marmi.

The surrounding scenery invites to long walks in the woods of the hilly land.

A large terraced garden surrounds the property with aged trees, lemon trees grown in the characteristic Tuscan pots, flowers and aromatic plants.
A glorious cascades of purple Bougainvillea flowers is clinged to the house.

These apartments are large and very comfortable, furnished with antiques and equipped with modern appliances

First and second have each one double and one twin bedrooms with two bathrooms with shower, the third only one double bedroom + bathroom. All have a large livingroom with double sofabed, a table with chairs for 6 and an open plan kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. All the windows open on the fabulous view on the valley.

The independent entrance leads from the garden on the back of the house in the large living room with a surface of sq m 100 with typical Tuscan Terracotta tiles and wood beamed ceiling. Windows overlook the valley and a large fire-place is in the centre of the large room, opposite to the windows.

Four bedrooms are at the end of a long corridor, each with private bathroom or shower room.
A very large dining room (former lemon house) upstairs is reachable through a spiral staircase from the livingroom. The room has a large surface of 70 sq.m. and has access through an arched old big door also from the front lawn at same level. In the room there are tables and chairs for 8, a drawer, T.V.SET and a fully furnished open plan kitchen, with electric stove, oven, refrigerator, dish washer and washing machine.
