why in the Ulixes'Coast?
Holiday house on the beach south of Rome
| On the Circeo,
the promontory where the sorceress CIRCE enchanted ULISSE, there is
the small town of S.Felice. The promontory falls onto the sea and
on both sides there are clean water and very long exclusive white
shores behind which the Romans (mainly) spend to day their august
holidays in their villas. |

The wide
forest behind the mountain and the very wide territory became national
park in the sixties.
Villa Bucci is a summer cottage built in the seventies
and is property of a Roman family which spend its august holidays
permanently in this site.
It was well projected to have all comforts - A/C and
heating equipped - for a relaxing and amusing long period of vacation. |
The
property is located in an enclosed private park, separated by the
boulevard from the beach, together with many small beach villas,
each independent and with its own garden around.
The livingroom has a well equipped kitchenette corner,
a bathroom, a double and a very large bunk bedroom - are on the
ground floor. |

2 porticos,
one in front and one, larger, on the back, both with table and chairs,
fireplace and one with BBQ too, make this villa very comfortable
for an outdoor living.
A staircase from the livingroom and another from one
portico leads to the underfloor which is 2,10 metres ground to ceiling. |
In the
undergroundfloor a large living room has a table soccer and an additional
fridge, a double bedroom, a second bathroom with washing machine.
The house is small but with large spaces for an outside
living. It is fresh during summer.
The location of this villa is very good, being in a
oasis of

peace but
very close to supermarkets, cinema, banks and plenty of restaurants
some of which "gourmet".
An internal path leads in few metres all inhabitants
of the private park to the beach, crossing the boulevard.
Besides, only 15 kilometres far is Terracina with its
extraordinary Roman temple of Jupiter Anxur on its Pisco Montano. |
Further
10 kms far the fishermen village of Sperlonga where are the ruins
of the villa of the Emperor Tiberius where the Laocoonte was found,
can be visited. All the coast is rich of fun and nightlife.
Just one km far a riding center and just out the town
of San Felice the national park of Circeo with its guided visits
to the forest.
On the other side of the promontory there are white
sand dunes between the lake (flamingos in spring up to beginning
June) and sea. On the lake canoes' rental are possible. In the ray
of 30 km. visits to Ninfa botanic garden, Fossanova Abbey, the nice
town of Sermoneta.
Hydrofoil (one hour) and ships live daily the ports
of S. Felice and Terracina to the wonderful island of Ponza. |
