The Palace, a wonderful house of the 18th Century is in the extreme northern corner of Tuscany, bordering with Liguria and Emilia and in the vicinity of Cinque Terre.
Simply but comfortably furnished the property can accommodate up to 20+6 people in 10 double/twin bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, 4 living rooms with a total area of approximately 630 square meters. plus wide open spaces and porches. |
| One of the bedrooms with his living room and a kitchen area has a separate access at the rear of the building while the rest, though divided into 4 apartments with kitchen, have all access on the ground floor by one of them with access just after entering the front door, another on first floor and two on the second floor, all connected by an ancient very beautiful stone staircase. One of the living room has an area of 40 square meters and represents the common room, connected to a kitchen fully equipped for a group of guests. |

Starting from early spring days, the pool -set like a jewel in the palace garden and lit until late evening - promises pleasant days outdoors in complete relaxation.
The fully fenced garden is an explosion of color and fragrance throughout the summer, perfect scenario for lovers of painting or inviting to rest, sipping a good glass of wine, doing nothing while batteries recharge.

cooking classes on request, as well as wine seminars (professional and otherwise) can be held at the palace and walking tours with professional guide can be arranged.
The village has 100 inhabitants and lies on one side of the river valley Taverone flowing toward the sea of Liguria in the green hills of the Apuan Alps. Along his route dotted with small picturesque hamlets, it touch on two ancient and picturesque towns, one of which is Licciana Nardi , 5000 inhabitants, six kilometers from the property.

The Taverone river follows a route rich and varied landscape, from the mountain to the hills, than the plain and a few kilometers to reach the sea, all along its route through farmland and surrounded by verdant hillside groves. In the upper valley, the mountain is covered with chestnut trees in the middle valley olive trees reign supreme, then the vineyards and in the lower valley wheat fields. |
Four centuries of history are indelibly etched in the ancient manor houses, on the walls of the villages, stately palaces, sandstone portals, in churches and also in many "maestà di pietra" -a carved stone pillar with the tabernacle and a votive image put to protect pilgrims.
