Villaricca, a luxury privately owned villa close to Principina a mare, part of an estate extending within the confines of a WWF National Park on the coast of the Maremma in Tuscany is a former tower 30 metres high built in 1283 to defend the coastline from marauding Saracens.
The villa has one ha garden and was fully restored in 2005.

| The villa extends over three floors. A large, modern kitchen with adjoining dining room and TV lounge occupy the ground floor. The first floor is made up of a large living space and two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The top floor has another three bedrooms and three bathrooms. A second kitchen here conveniently serves as a breakfast kitchen.

The extensive restoration of the house included the new kitchen and bathrooms, while the other rooms in the house received a complete face-lift. The decor is elegant and comfortable in harmony with the patrician style of this historic residence.

| The garden extends over an extensive lawn shaded by maritime pines for al fresto dining and a pool area (children-proof). The beach is at four kms from the house at the end of a country lane winding through the National Park, affording fascinating glimpses of the local fauna. The sandy beach is white and deep, with the islands of the archipelago on the horizon. It is rare here to meet your Man Friday; there are few parts of Tuscany so secluded and well preserved. |

The nearest shopping town is Grosseto 12 kilometres away. There are riding stables on the estate and tennis courts 12km away.
