La
Villa dei Tigulli - BONASSOLA, CINQUETERRE
We just wanted to follow up with you to tell
you how much we enjoyed our time in Bonassola. Everything worked
out just fine and the house was perfect for our family. Lina was
a great host and very gracious.
Thanks for your help. We hope to visit again sometime in the future.

Villa
Lena - FORMIA, GAETA'S BAY
Hello Silvia,
we found Formia an ideal base to visit both Rome and Naples as its
half way between the two. We did hire a car at the airport but we
found that we could have done without as there is an excellent train
service to both cities, approx an hour fifteen minutes to either.
On the downside the train station in Formia is a good walk uphill
approx 15 minutes from house, there is buses which I would recommend
taking, as Taxi will cost E10 to house. If you do hire a car, Formia
is easy enough to get to but driving in Italy is not for the feinthearted.
We rented Villa Lena (the Large) for one week and found it a comfortable
large house, approx two minutes walk to beach and beside a gas station
which also doubled as grocery store. The house is on a very busy
main road, however we could not hear traffic and as its well fenced
in it was safe enough for my children to play outside in the garden.
The house was clean & well equipped with TV, wash machine, BBQ
etc. The was a full kitchen but as it was very good value to eat
out we did every night as restaurants are within walking distance.
The only downside is you pay extra for Electricity and at E1 per
unit I found that a little expensive. Otherwise I would recommend
Villa Lena to anyone either wanting a base to explore as said Rome
or Naples or even to stay local and get a taste of Italian living.
Regards.....Antoinette Fitzsimons
I
wish you a successful season for your holiday bookings and would have
no hesitation in recommending your company. You have dealt with everything
in a very professional and satisfactory manner. Maybe next year I
will have another opportunity to spend time in Italy.

CASTELLO - TARQUINIA
Dear Mario & Silvia Esposito
I agree that Tarquinia is an undiscovered jewel. Tuscania was our
main focus - we went there twice. Fantastic. Please dont tell everyone
about it because it is still so special. Have you ever been to NORCHIA?
fenomenale!
Best wishes
David Chandler
Dear Mr Chandler,
Thank you very much for coming back to us this year too.
We see that you wish to put your roots in Tarquinia! In fact this
is a very nice area off the beaten track that should be proposed more
to the foreigners. Good beach, good food, affordable rates and I hope
you have visited Tuscania, one of the unknown Italian jewels, according
our opinion.
VILLA
LENA - FORMIA
Silvia & Mario,
Thank you so much for an outstanding visit.
The Villa was great and we enjoyed every evening in Formia. The Villa's
location was perfect for our needs and I can only imagine how much
enjoyable it would be in the summer. The price was very in-expensive
and I have already recommended your villa to some of my Co-workers
and friends.
Please stay safe and be well!!!
Many thanks!!!!!

CASA
LILIANA - ROME
Casa Liliana was like a home. The apartment was bigger than expected.
Its location as expected with access to Historical Rome very easy
via No8 tram. Trastevere rail station nearby giving quick access to
Vatican and Airport and Rome Termini station. All amenities were within
easy walking distance.
We were met by the owner when we arrived by taxi from the Termini
Station. The apartment was shown to us and explained in detail and
we kept in constant communication with the owner. A very pleasant
stay.
Some tips: - If you first arrive from the Termini train station -
than take a taxi - the cost for four was 15E and the baggage 10E.
If you come from the Airport - then take the Train to Trestavere station
(about 4E) then the No8 tram up the hill to the stop near the hospital
gates (1E).
Travel in Rome is very easy - don't be afraid to ask, people are very
friendly. Use the trains and trams. Busses also easy enough (just
remember No. 64) and ask if unsure.
Most guide books are clear enough to use as long as you find a rail/
metro /route map in the back.
Christmas is a good time to visit - its cold but not crowded. Queue
to the Vatican museum non existant - easy to get in anywhere.
Hope our feedback was of some use.
Kind regards
Robert Burchell

LE
BARCHESSE - MIRANO VENEZIA
hi, we very much enjoyed our stay at la Barchessa. It was well situated
and quiet.
The town of Mirano was a pleasant surprise - very un-touristy, with
a few good restaurants.
The proximity to Venice was excellent as well as to other towns..we
visited Padua, Verona and did the prosecco tour.
We were there during a heat wave (though it was June) and were very
thankful for the air conditioning. The unit could use an outdoor terrace/eating
area other than the motor court that is not very private. A swimming
pool also would have been nice, but we spent much of our time out
and about.
The unit itself was beautifully decorated and very comfortable for
our family of 4. The kitchen was well equipped, so making dinner on
occaision was easy. The duplex had 2 bathrooms upstairs, one of which
caused some difficulty with the shower not draining properly,as it
was the only shower, that was a bit of an issue. The only other problem
we had was the electricity going out one night and not having anyone
to fix it...we quickly had to learn how to use the Italian phone system
using a credit card, called the owner, who was very helpful, and then
drive back to the unit to find the main switch to reset....not having
a phone was a bit of a problem... the only other issue was the lack
of a washing machine and dryer for clothes...we gave our laundry to
someone recommended, but when it came back it was incredibly expensive
for just washing a folding a few things...
All in all we would definitely recommend la barchesa. It was very
comfortable for us and well situated.
Thank you for your assistance.

VILLA
LENA - FORMIA
Dear Silvia & Mario,
Thank you for your email.
I have been meaning to email you both before now to thank you for
our stay. We would like to give you the following review of our stay
at Villa Lena.
My family rented both large apartments at villa Lena for two weeks
in Sept 06. On arrival we were a little daunted by the very busy commuter
road immediatly outside the apt complex. After a couple of sleepless
nights we adjusted to the noise from the busy road and thouraghly
enjoyed our stay. Unfortunalty, our apartment was not very clean but
was very comfortable and once we found our bearings, unpacked, got
some food shopping done, we were quiet happy. We were mainly unhappy
with the dirt of the floor as our childrens feet were black from walking
bare feet on for just a couple of minutes although we understand that
sand from the beach is the most cause of this. Also, the bathroom
upstairs on arrival smelt really bad from the dampness in it and it
was very mouldy and not very clean. Everything else was good. We did
find the apts a little over priced from speaking to some locals and
learning of the local rates in the area, however we were happy to
pay for the comfort and location.
The beach was very nice and very near as advertised and having the
pedestrian crossing on the busy road was ideal and very much apprecaited
with our children.
We very much appreciated the very equpt kitchen area and the clean
bed linen and bath linen however we were disapointed that there was
no hot water in the kitchen throughout our stay.
The residents of the apts were very kind people as on one occasion
our baby was sick and the kind lady helped to call a doctor for us.
They were always leaving little gifts, like olives and other italian
traditional foods which in this day and age to have such good neighbours
is priceless and very reassuring.
We would recommend Villa Lena to our friends and we do hope to use
your kind services and accomadation again in the future.
Thank you for looking after me and my family with such kindness. Until
we talk again, take care of yourselves.

LA
ROCCA - TUSCAN COAST
We did enjoy our stay at La Rocca. We thought is was a good value
and we appreciated all the details you put in. We loved picking tomatoes
from the garden and making a salad! We were very comfortable.
We were not expecting the long walk up the cobblestone street to get
to the house, or that it was so far up the hill.
I think that was the only drawback for us.
I think the dependence unit would be much more comfortable and usable
for a family if there was a door to the bathroom where the kitchen
table is. Then two families can use the unit without disturbing the
person in the bedroom to use the bathroom.
But the home was beautifully done and very charming and we would recommend
it to anyone who wanted to be away from it all and on top of the world.
You were the perfect hosts and we appreciated all your help!!! Having
wireless internet was great!!

DUKES
VALLEY - URBANIA (PE)
The Duke's valley was good value for money - In addition to the great
meeting social rooms each bedroom has a new private bathroom. The
pool and tennis courts were also great. Being about a 5 - 10 minute
drive form the small town of Urbania was also fantastic.
It Exceeded our expectations. With 13 people there we had both the
space to socialize as well as the room to be by ourselves if we wished.
Only suggestion would be to add an outside light near the pool so
you had some light for swimming after dark. We bought a small light
and plugged it in at the pool house which worked out great. Was the
description accurate? If anything it understated how nice the facility
was. I Absolutely recommend it to a friend - Already have

SIR
WILLIAMS - ROME
We had a wonderful time in Rome, even though the weather was a bit
rainy. It is a beautiful city and the apartment was in an excellent
location. Paulo and Masha were very helpful and pleasant and, generally,
the apartment worked out very well.
In terms of suggestions, we found the mattress on the master bed to
be unusually firm -- at least by our standards -- and there was a
lot of construction going on while we were there which made it more
noisy than usual and also occasionally put the elevator out of use.
Otherwise, everything was fine and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend
your services to others.

VILLA
IL CINGHIALINO - COLLEVECCHIO (RIETI)
Dear Silvia,
We are now back home and I just wanted to tell you how delighted we
were with the villa.
The villa is an ideal setting, high on a hill and very private. We
could hear neighbors sometimes calling dogs but most of the time we
just heard roosters and owls. It was even more beautiful than the
pictures on the web. None of the pictures did justice to the beautiful
views of the
hills from every corner of the place! After I got home and read the
contract, I realized I had never given to Cecilia (and she had never
asked) for the $400 security deposit. Cecilia left us with groceries,
bread, wine, iced tea, bottled water and when I asked her about the
cleaning fee, she said that was included, also. They have installed
a dish washer since you have written your description. We never used
it but we did use the washing machine quite a bit. The kitchen is
well stocked and we made great coffee in the espresso pot provided.
The beds were all very comfortable with lots of blankets and comforters
which came in handy the first two nights that were chilly. The rest
of the week was very warm. The weather was perfect and we made good
use of the pool. The three bathrooms made life with our three daughters
bearable and although the three of them put a strain on the electrical
system in the villa, we all survived quite nicely. (It took us a day
to discover that the water heater and lights all had to be off for
one daughter to dry her hair.) We did experience one night when the
water in the house shut off but Cecilia managed to get someone to
come out at 10 pm and fill the emergency tank which held us until
the water was turned back on the next day. I guess the town itself
was experiencing water problems. We had a great barbeque of the outdoor
grill one night. We took day trips to Orvieto, Farfa Abbey, Siena
and spent one night away from the villa to spend two days in Florence.
All in all, it was everything I dreamed it could be when I thought
of this last Christmas and I thank you again for being part of my
dream!

L'INFIORATA
- ROME
Dear Sylvia,
Thanks to you and Mario for such delightful memories .... the tour
of Gaeta (what a beautiful place!) and the wonderful restaurant where
we had lunch, but most of all for the time we spent at L'INFIORATA.
Since this was our children's first trip abroad, staying in a comfortable,
attractive home away from the noise and confusion of the city was
the perfect way to experience another country & culture.
And, for everyone to be in the same house made it perfect. We appreciate
your allowing us to add another child to our group. After seeing our
family, I'm sure you can understand why we didn't want to split up
the group.
Who is the musician in the family, you or Mario? Our grandchildren
are learning to play the piano & keyboard and reallyl enjoyed
having them available. I hope they were not damaged in any way.
...
Our two favorite resturants were Olivetti's in Formello and Casale
in Rome on Via Flaminia, in case you want to steer future clients
to good resturants. They were very good for family dining, and quite
reasonable in price.
We prepared two meals (other than light breakfasts) at the house,
and the facilities were quite adequate.
You asked about the house, the only thing lacking was the need for
a few more towels. I guess Americans are really spoiled about using
too many towels!
As for the best experience, I think the best was the fact that we
were all together in a warm, cozy comfortable home to relax after
a hard day of sightseeing & shopping. It allowed us to discuss
each day as we experienced it and make plans for the next. I was really
surprised that the children did so well in the trains & subways
& traffic. Although it seems pretty chaotic to country folks like
us, there is a certain "understanding" among the local people
about how to get around without getting killed. They seem to know
just how much they can get away with before they have to give in.
...
When we get our pictures edited I will select a few (altogether be
probably have 500 or 600)
showing scenes at the villa.
We would be happy to provide comments on our stay if you have clients
who would like opinions & comments.
We are heading for New Orleans this afternoon to check on the repairs
to our house there.
Thanks again for everything.

We had the pleasure and the honor to
assist this beautiful family during their long trip throughout Italy.
Dear Mario and Silvia
Ed and I and Amelia and Hudson want to thank you from the bottom
of our hearts (is that an American expression only?) for your guidance
and support on our trip to Italy.
We have had such a wonderful time! We felt safe and we always knew
that you would help us if we had a problem. This made travelling
and trying new things much easier.
The houses/villas/apartments that you secured for us were all excellent.
We loved Villa Giona. We would never have
gone to Valpolicella but it was so incredibly beautiful, fun, and
the food was almost the best we had! Of course, all of the food
we had in Italy was magnificent.
Also, we would never have dreamed to venture into Umbria.
Gubbio and Ami turned out to be one of our favorite places.
It snowed lightly when we were in Assisi---BEAUTIFUL.
One day while we were in Valpolicella we went to a resteraunt in
the hills that Paolo had recommended.
We drove up a small foothill to about 500 meters and it was snowing.
We had a delightful lunch--Ed had
beef cheeks and I had beef in balsalmic vinegar--Molto Buono! We
ate lunch for 2 hours...
We have enjoyed Italy so much more with you as our guide. Without
you to guide us we probably would have stuck to places we knew or
read about in the guidebook.
Siena was another very special place. A truly beautiful city. It
was empty of tourists! We love travelling in Italy in the winter.
It may rain sometimes but we are seeing the cities with Italians----not
tourists.
Venice is beautiful. The apartment is
the BEST!!!!!Centrally located, beautifully appointed and Franchesca
is very kind. We can tell that she is very sophisticated but she
is very warm in her personal
contact. Carnivale has turned out just fine. Enough crowds to make
it fun but not too many people to make seeing the city impossible.
We all have masks and capes now and we went to the Piazza San Marco
all dressed up...very fun!
I have used the words, beautiful, magnificent, and exquisite too
many times. But, there aren't enough superlatives to praise you
enough.
Thank you,Thank you, Thank you,
