in the center of a triangle between the well known art-towns of
Venice, Padua and Treviso, all in short drive. The area is scattered

The ancient villa of the 17th century,
with its haylofts (the so called "Barchesse" with reference
to the river boats and barges - "barche" - arriving in
the past on the channel to the villa to load or unload goods to
and from those buildings), is located in the center of the village.

| In fact, even being dipped in the
green countryside, surrounded by channels, the centre of the village
and the public square with its bars, restaurant and shops can be
reached in ten minutes walking along the channel.
In short distance the bus stop links in few minutes the village
to Venice (18 km), but Venice can be reached by train from Mestre
whose railway station is just 10 km far from the villa. |

Two Barchessa (haylofts) has been
carefully restored and transformed into apartments, two of which,
each with private access from the same court, are high class, very
well furnished with aged pieces, tastefully at high standard, fully
equipped and functional for holiday rentals. They are surrounded
by the park and by other villas of the same age.
In the Italian garden there is a swimming pool. |

This two levels apartment has a small private garden. Inside, on
130 sq m (1.450 sq.feet) there are a dining room, a sitting room,
the fully equipped kitchn, one double, one twin an one single bedroom
with a puff/bed added, half bath and a bathroom with bath. |

The apartment has TV set, dishwasher
heating and A/C equipment, oven, refrigerator. A washing machine
is shared.
All appliances and facilities are new, just installed during the
summer 2005.
In front of the apartment Sottoportego, on the other side of the
court, there is the entrance door of the
Apartment Barchessa, sleeps 5
The entrance door leads immediately to the livingroom with dining
and sitting area. The table can be opened to host 6 people.

first floor there are the master bedroom with canopy, a twin and
a single bedroom, a bathroom with bath and another with shower.
The apartment has TV set, dishwasher heating and A/C equipment,

The park of the villa is now under restore, particularly designed,
and and will be well cared. A sheltered parking for a car is available.

This is a territory with many villages of incomparable
beauty, such as Asolo, Bassano of the Grappa, Marostica, Citadel,
for short exciting excursions, one of which, by bike, is the Riva
Del Brenta to visit the famous Palladian Venetian villas, including
"LA MALCONTENTA" and Villa Pisani, the Royal villa.
The area was very rich in the 16th and 17th century, with wheat
fields and a complex of flour mills to supply a healthy development
of the traffics with Venice and Padova throughout a wide system
of channels from the Musone, Taglio and Brenta rivers.

| Those healthy centuries
marked also the purchase of the lands from the Venetian aristocracy
that built splendid dwellings to spend their holiday stimulated
by the possibility of the fluvial access.
This explains the presence of splendid villas of the 16th and 17th
century, surrounded by parks, that represent an inestimabile patrimony
for the Venetian history. |

Gianbattista and Domenico Tiepolo lived in a villa
located one km from the Barchesse. Giambattista painted the "Pala
Di St Antony" in the archpriest church San Michele Arcangelo
in the Mirano village while his son Giandomenico painted the famous
"Pulcinella" just in their villa, - but now transferred
in the Cà Rezzonico in Venice - .
