The Aosta Valley, widely known and esteemed for its breath-taking
scenery, its castles, churches and bewitching historic villages
invites for hiking or simply relaxing in the summer, after skiing
on the glacier of Monte Bianco, the highest mountain in Western
Europe - about 4,810 metres (15,780 feet), on the borders of Italy,
France and Switzerland.
A large sporting center is in Dolonne, a sister-town of Courmayeur
and Mont Chétif, a hiker-friendly mountain are a premise
for a very cheerful holiday

The fairly large villa located
upstream of Courmayeur, just in face of LA BRENVA,
is an authentic mountain chalet that enjoies a superb view on the
Monte Bianco.
The wooden and stone chalet was built in 1954 on a project of the
ing.VIOTTO, student of Giò Ponti, a famous Designer of the
50's, member of the new wave of RATIONALISM in the 50's.
Furnished with authentic exclusive pieces of the 50's and enriched
with pure and valuable Aosta and Savoia antiques if the 17th and
18th century, pewters and wooden sculpture.

The 1.200 sqm garden with aged trees has a stone barbeque,
stone table with chairs, and chairs for relax. The house has a surface
of 500 sqm on 3 levels:

- two living rooms, one of which with fireplace, both with TV set,
- a very large kitchen fully equipped with dishwasher, washing machine,
cooker with 4 burners, oven, fridge with freezer and microwave.

Courmayeur is a skiing resort popular all over
the world. Highly frequented by the English skiers, North American
visitors are prominent too. Courmayeur, separated from France only
by Mont Blanc, is a cosmopolitan town where the "Valdostani"
- so called Italians born in the Aosta Valley - speak a fluent French,
the local Patois dialect and often an excellent English too more
than, off course, Italian. They are a good, warm, honest and salt-of-the-earth
mountain people.
Courmayeur is also popular in the Scandinavian Countries and in
the rest of Europe.
Courmayeur is a resorts of great prestige and reputation
in Val d'Aosta grown in popularity with skiers from all over the
globe.
Its ski area Chécrouit-Val Vény offer to the skiers
more than 100Km piste on the slopes always covered by snow and numerous
tracks from quota 2700 to the valley. The tracks can be reached
by cableway from the village or from Entrèves
