S. Felice Circeo

On the Circeo, the promontory where the sorceress CIRCE enchanted ULISSE, there are two small towns: S.Felice, where the promontory falls onto the sea and Lacona, on the foot. On both sides of the Circeo there are clean water and very long exclusive white shores behind which the Romans (mainly) spend to day their august holidays in their villas.

The wide forest behind the mountain and the very wide territory became national park in the sixties.
La Campagnina is a large villa positioned in the old part of S. Felice Circeo, close to the port and in short walk to the beach.

It was built in the seventies by a large family that spent its August holidays permanently in this site. It was very well projected to have all comforts for a relaxing and amusing long period of vacation.

The large garden (2.300 sq m), which surround the house, has a sheltered area with tennis table and a stone barbecue on the back, near to the kitchen. The garden has old pine trees, sun umbrellas, chairs, barbecue place and a portico has a dining table and chairs.

Four steps give access to the furnished portico, where the main door open to the entrance room in which a door leads to the dining room and a staircase to the first floor.

The house, simply but comfortably furnished consist of:
Ground floor: a dining room with table and chairs for 8 and a living room with fireplace and TV set, 2 arm chairs and 2 sofas, one of which convertible into a comfortable bed.

On the same floor a double bedroom with wardrobe, a bathroom with shower and the kitchen, fully equipped with fridge, freezer, cooker and washing machine.
A second fridge is in the cave.
On the first floor a double and two twin bedrooms, all with side table and chest of drawer, a Bathroom with bath and a half bath (only sink and bidet).

A large terrace furnished with sun chairs surrounds the first floor on 3 sides of the building.
Supermarket, restaurants, bus etc. are in walking distance, 200 - 400 metres far. Beach free or with beach club 300 metres
Two km. far a riding centre, 4 km. On the back of the village the national park of Circeo with its guided visits to the forest and white sand dunes between the lake (flamingos in spring up to beginning June) and sea.

On the lake canoes' rental are possible. In the ray of 30 km. visits to Ninfa botanic garden, Fossanova Abbey, the nice town of Sermoneta and the Jupiter's Roman Templum which dominate the mount of Terracina.

Hydrofoil (one hour) and ships leave daily the ports of S. Felice and Terracina to the wonderful island of Ponza.
