This farmhouse that date back to the 19th century
is situated in the centre of Umbria, between Assisi and Perugia
, Todi and Montefalco.
This farmhouse, peculiar for the nice interiors and the naturalistic
context in which is set, sprang up with apartments and swimming
pool inside a two hundred and eight hectares farm immersed in a
still uncontaminated land, on the top of a hill four hundred |
and fifty metres above
Sea level, in a unique position for its panorama and quietness.
It is the right place for a relaxing holiday in contact with the
nature, a pleasant wholesome experience with food and local wines.
One hundred and eighty hectares consist of wood in which one can
find every species of trees; ilexes, chestnuts, firs etc. |

The remaining twenty-eight
hectares that encircle the farmhouse contain a century old olive
grove to which more than one thousand younger olive trees have been
added. This land does not know chemical fertilizer such and herbicides.
All the plants are well kept and pruned only by expert hands.
A careful restore of the main farmhouse produced eight similar apartments
of sixty square metres each, 5 of |

floor and 3 on the first floor, all with independent entrance, composed
of a double bedroom, a living room with double sofa bed, kitchen
or kitchenette corner, bathroom. |

There are
also 3 additional bedrooms in the farmhouse that
can be rented separately. The bedrooms are all situated in the first
floor of the smaller farmhouse. They have the dimension of 25 sqm,
with a sight on the olive grove. Each bedroom has its services and
all comforts: heating, air conditioning, TV set, 2 double bedrooms
with en-suite bathroom with shower and a suite (double bedroom +
living room) with bathroom with shower. |
Interiors
are well kept with particular care to the smallest detail in order
to re- create and respect the features of this locality. Chestnut
beams, flat tiles, impruneta bricks, period furniture, these are
the elements of an elegant and rural furnishing, everything without
neglecting the comfort of the sofas and orthopaedic beds, essential
for a real relax.
All the flats have a TV set, independent central heating, |

dishwasher, hairdryer and everything necessary for cooking
(electrical cream whipping, toaster, corkscrew, vegetable mill).
OUTDOORS SPACE
The respect for the nature led to not disturb the landscape but
to adapt to it. That's why the swimming pool has a splendid placing
for panorama and easy access.
A shared big barbecue with furnished park and gardens, as well as
the gazebo from which to enjoy the beautiful view on the Umbrian
surrounding hills are available to all guests.
The farm offers several possibilities for the people who wants to
have a good time making physical activity.
There is a swimming pool for those who wish to swim, or mountain
bikes for those who prefer to take a walk along the numerous paths
around the farm.
In the nearby riding centre you can take lessons and go horse back.
PRODUCTS of the
farm:
The main product is extra virgin olive oil.
90% of olives come from mulberry tree and 10% (ten for cent) ilex
tree.
From the harvesting to the moment of the pressing never pass more
than two days. Pressing is made nearby in the oil press in Gualdo
Cattaneo.
The result of all this is an extra virgin olive oil with low acidity,
with a fruity aroma and it is rich in unsaturated lipids and vitamins. |
