We are in the Tuscan countryside, just off the coast, 30 kms from the worldwide famous town of Pisa, with its Tower, half an hour from the beach and less than an hour from Florence. This strategic position has been during the times been chosen by many Tuscan noble families for their summer holidays. Villa a Cevoli is, among them, an imposing very charming 1900 country villa, rich in class and suggestion. A boulevard leads from the gate to the villa and its lovely terrace, one place where it will be pleasant to relax or dine al fresco, taking a view downhill to medieval villages, one of which is only steps away.

The villa has been recently totally restored, keeping the original charm and spirit, while adding all possible modern comforts. The lady owner has taken personal care of all details in every part of the property, so that the villa results elegant, comfortable and very cosy. Nice colours chosen to decorate the rooms, elegant fabrics, antique family furniture give to the property a special appeal. Cotto floorings and wood beamed ceilings add warmth to the whole.
The villa has a large garden, well cared, with a terrace adjacent to the house and a 11x6 pool, furnished with sunbeds, a covered patio for al fresco meals and sunshades, a pool house with bathroom with shower.
The italian garden has perfectly cared lawns and high trees.

The atmosphere can be definetely described as romantic and recalling past times.
The Villa is displayed on three levels and can sleep 13 guests.
On Ground floor, few steps from the front terrace lead to the large lovely living room with fireplace and large, comfortable sofas.
A TV room with Tv sat, a traditional dining room with table for 12, a nice old Tuscan kitchen, perfectly equipped with all modern appliances, then a bedroom with queen size bed and a bathroom with bath. This private area can be useful for elders who may not be keen of stairs.

On the lower ground floor a fully independent apartment that can be reached either from inside that from the parking area, consisting of a double bedroom, a living room, a dining room with kitchenette and a bathroom.
On first floor the private area, with two bedrooms with queen size beds, one bedroom with 3 single beds, one double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, one bathroom with bath and one with shower and hydromassage.
Cot available when necessary.

- Welcome dinner upon arrival on saturday night
- Final cleaning and daily cleaning (9-12) except saturdays
- Change of bed and bath lined twice a week
- electricity, gas, garden and pool maintanance
- cot for babies

Prices do not include:
- telephone to be charged upon use
- central heating - 200 euro per week
- extra cleaning, 10 euro per hour
- a cook, 12 euro per hour
The lady cook is available for breakfast and dinner preparation.

Although absolutely comfortable and pleasant to relax home, a holiday at Villa a Cevoli can be a great starting point for excursions to visit many beutiful and interesting villages, cities and country spots. Several nature trails are organized starting from the nearest village, nice to visit also for its Medieval Castle and for the many witnesses dating back to the Ninth century.
Should the guests forget to take a look at the famous Leaning Tower and the Miracles Square at Pisa? We should say no.
Every day can be a discover and it will be pleasant to return to such a cosy elegant residence overnight.

The villa is actually reachable though easy roads and intersections with the main highways. Not to forget that trains can be caught to the major destination with half an hour drive.
We recommend that guests try the local cuisine, purchasing , fresh products everyday from the market in the nearest village; Tuscany is famous for many delicious dishes, most of all of poor origin, made with vegetables, fantastic meat, cheese and fish on the coast.
It may be nice to consider to ask the owner to hire a cook to prepare local dishes for the guests, which we are sure will be a tasty warm experience.
