I due casali is the country beloved house of a gentle lady, who lives in Rome, often coming to the premises for periods of relax.
It is situated in Formello, in the heart of Veio Archaelogical Regional Park, half an hour north of Rome.
The property consists of two buildings, the main and the dependance, the latter in the exclusive use of the owner's family, in a separate and quiet position, away from the house given for rental.

The house is situated in a quiet country position, not isolated from other villas, yet enjoying total privacy, with private parking in the very large garden that surrounds the property.
The villa has been recently refreshed and is painted in the typical rustic pinky colour, which gives to the whole a warm atmosphere.

The large pool is on the back side of the house, hidden from the view and equipped with deckchairs for sunbathing. The patio is also on the back of the house, ideal for taking meals al fresco in a shaded position. It is furnished with tables and chairs.

As regards to the interiors, the owners has meant the house as the place to relax and to dedicate to the pleasures of the country. She has therefore chosen comfortable and simple furniture, easy to live, clean and use, yet nice and warm, in perfect accordance to the place.

The ground floor is dedicated to the living moments, cooking, dining and relax, with the simple kitchen with direct access to the garden and the spacious living area with sofas and tv and the dining space with a large solid table for at least 6 people.
The entire space is served by wide windows opening to the pool side, to the straw shades patio and to the very large garden.

On the upper level the private areas, with two rooms, one double and one twin with two iron work beds.
There is also an open single sofabed with extra drawing chest bed and access to a balcony. This space can be handy for an extra guest of for one or two kids. The room is given privacy with a screen.
A bathroom with shower is available on this level.

All around the house, the huge well maintained garden, with a corner dedicated to kichen herbs growing, the large swimming pool and the cobbled paved path to the dependance, at distance from the main house.

The beaches at north of Rome are usually reached by the village inhabitants in half an hour, with no traffic hussle, through suggestive country roads.
The guests will find this territory, in the heart of the Veio Archaeological Park, rich in history, beauty, delicious local products, at short distance from the Capital.

The Archaeological Park of Veio is interesting to discover for its several Etruscan sites, that can be visited alone or with guides, as Formello historic center hosts an Information point, the InfoShop, for touristic guides, guides tours, restaurants reservations, local products tasting and purchasing. It is open Thursday-Sunday.

Not to miss the Sorbo Valley with the Sanctuary of the Madonna, a beautiful uncontaminated spot, not so wellknown yet, a gem in the Natural Park, at less than half an hour from Rome.

We feel sure that a holiday in the area deserves at least a week stay or a return to appreciate visiting not only Rome, but also all the lovely places just outside the main gate or little farther away.
