Lesa is a small delightful village around a small cove along the west side of Lake Maggiore with tiny alleys, a forgotten scent of logs burning in the fireplace in winter, and several excellent restaurants. Most of the houses in the centre were built in the 18th century, but there are older and bigger mansions, one of which belonging to the Italian Prime Minister. |
