| IL FRANTOIO is part of an estate
with 4 luxury holiday houses, each with its swimmingpool, set in
an area of outstanding beauty yet each is within easy reach of Tuscany's
finest cities, historical towns and medieval villages. The area
is the quintessence of everything that is enchanting about Italy
- the vast and varied scenery, the food and fine wine, the culture,
art and history, the hill top villages, narrow cobbled streets,
grand piazzas, the passionate people ….. |
 |
 |
An original olive press on this estate
at one time used by the villagers of Vorno, Il Frantoio is still
today surrounded by beautiful terraced olive groves. Its recent
restoration has turned it into a charming and comfortable home with
views looking out across the swimming pool towards the distant walled
city of Lucca. |
Il Frantoio is fully heated and air-conditioned
and comprises, on the ground floor, a main entrance-hall and staircase,
a homely and fully equipped Tuscan kitchen and breakfast room, a
spacious lounge with comfortable sofas and armchairs, music system,
satellite TV as well as a desk area with computer, printer, fax,
telephone and internet facilities.
