Radicofani is an old medieval village of about 1000 citizens, once considered a strategic centre on the Francigena road, hiding place of the "Falco della Val d'Orcia" (the Hawk of the Orcia Valley) known as Ghino di Tacco.

The stately castle from where the "gentleman-bandit" levied tributes on the rich lords of that time, stands on the top of the cliff. A charming village, immersed in the green of its hills, rich in history and culture.
In this evocative countryside is set this 19th century home that a long and perfect restoration has given a new birth; the inside rooms have been tastefully furnished, wood beams, stone fireplaces and cotto floors create a warm ambience with rural furnishings filling the spaces.

Outside there is a big garden with high trees and a swimming pool (6X12 h 1,10-1,70) set in the middle of a natural terrace where you can stare at one of the most beautiful panorama of the Valdorcia. Three different terraces offer plenty of opportunity for dining or relaxing.
During the autumn all guests have the chance to take part to the harvesting and the miling of the olives and can taste directly the olive oil produced with biological growing.
