The Mermaids is a very beautiful ancient historical mansion, recently restored in full respect of the original style, in the city of Syracuse, 150 mt from the rocky beach and less than 1 km from the city centre and from the archaeological park in the Ortigia Island. The island is actually connected to the town by a bridge. The studio apartments, all at the ground floor, are independent and new. They can sleep from 2 to 4 people each, and are completely furnished featuring a kitchenette for private cookings. The apartment Footbridge is a dependance, of the main building, with a path to reach it.

A nice court hosts a small well cared garden, with the entrance to the studio apartments.

Apt. Footbridge: It has a modern style living area with table with chairs and single sofabed and a well equipped open kitchenette. The room is very spacious and a staircase leads to a mezzanine with a double bed. 1 bathroom. There is a small balcony and a footbridge outside to reach the main house..

The other apartments are on the same level and have access to the main house through a beautiful balcony scented with flowers.

Apt. Main Mermaids: it is a 2 double bedroom apartment with a living room and open kitchenette. 2 bathrooms with shower.
Apt. Mezzanine : it has a double bedroom and a third bed on the mezzanine, open kitchenette and 1 bathroom.

Apt. Studio Superior: it is a 1 double bedroom, an open kitchenette and 1 bathroom.
Apt. Studio: it has a double bedroom, an open kitchenette and 1 bathroom.

All the apartments are very well decorated and furnished and provided with:
fridge, colour TV, air conditioning/heating, fan, iron and a well equipped kitchenette corner..

Parking inside the property is available on request, for extra, but parking outside is free and with a little patience it comes available in minutes.
The bus stop is just opposite the house.

DISTANCES
The archaeological museum Paolo Orsi, the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle lacrime, the modern shopping area are in short distance together with enogastronomic itineraries and gym.
