We are in the heart of Tuscany, at the border between
the Siena and the Arezzo Tuscan provinces. Villa Olympus offers a high standard of accommodation.
Large groups or families looking for a peaceful and quiet holiday
will find perfect this beautiful spacious site. |
Tasteful furnishings combine perfectly with the Tuscan arches and
the typical, warm coloured stone walls. Wooden beamed ceilings and cotto floorings complete the typical italian atmosphere.
Placed apart in a quiet surrounding countryside, this expansive
house is immersed in a vast olive grove with the backdrop of Chianti
Mountain.

A swimming pool of 6
x 12 metres is placed in front of the house.
This property was visited in the year 2000 by CNN TV Crew and shown
in a TV program all over the US. |
The upper level has a luminous and airy dining
room with arched windows, a spacious kitchen with a fireplace, large
cooker, oven, refrigerator/freezer and dishwasher.

double and one single bedrooms, all with en-suite bathroom.
A guesthouse with indipendent entrance has a double bedroom, kitchen
and bathroom.
A very large living room with phone and satellite-tv is on the ground
floor. |
A big fireplace makes evenings more
homey and confortable. The villa has also a billiard room with fireplace
and piano bar.
The laundry is placed out of the house, with all comforts.

Midway between Siena
and Arezzo, the small town of Ambra, with the homonymous river with all shops is 8 km far from
the property. The Badia a Ruoti (Badia means Abbey) is a monastical complex certainly founded before the 11th Century, in proximity of the property, certainly deserves a visit. |
Just on the south-east border of the Chianti Classico area, the
District is spanned by scattered hills, medieval castles, towns
and villages.
Siena is approximately a 40 minute drive and Florence can be reached
within an hour. |

Difficult to suggest special visits when leaving the villa to explore the surroundings, as they express the real Tuscany: quiet people with great humor, centuries of art widely offered to the pleasure of the visitors, excellent gastronomy and fantastic wines. No wonder if visitors from all over the world keep coming to enjoy the true taste of Italy!
