Located just above La Spezia VILLA DEI POETI is at the center of a splendid land which covers the area of Italian Riviera and Tuscany, Portofino, Santa Margherita, Rapallo, and the CinqueTerre too, all within 10 and 45 minutes by car, train, or ferries (the railway station in 5 minutes by car, 8 minutes by bus or with a ten-minute walk). Ferry too leave the port only a few minutes away walking from the private gates.
Out of the gate, do not miss a walk through the property's land through an ancient Medieval Romanesque steps and then through the forest.to an ancient convent and church from which you will enjoy an unforgettable breathtaking view of La Spezia and the Poets’ Gulf. |
| A beautiful Italian garden and terraces surrounds the romantic house built in the beginning of the 19th century, overlooking the Gulf of the Poet’s.
Restored antiques, beautiful furniture, precious objects and accessories, frescoed ceilings and every single detail creates an elegant atmosphere giving the house a bright and airy feel.
The house has been recently published in a popular Italian home magazine.
The main living room has access on the right side of a large hallway on the groundfloor. Very large, with a beautiful marble fireplace, four sofas, precious paintings it sits comfortably 8 people. |

French doors open to the terraces overlooking the garden, with views on the town and the Gulf off in the distance. In the garden an area is equipped for a dinner outdoors or for sipping a glass of good wine under the shade of the trees.
Back on the hallway, at the end is the door of the fully equipped kitchen where an open floorplan and a bar communicate with the TV room and informal dining room. Couches and chairs are near the fireplace in the TV room. |
Again the kitchen leads out to another large terrace whith a table for dining outdoors. Just off of the kitchen there is a half bath and a door that open a twin bedroom with en-suite small bathroom with a shower.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The master bedroom has a queen size bed and an ensuite bathrom with shower.
The second bedroom has a double bed.
The third bedroom can be twin or double, on request.
A bathroom with shower is shared between these two bedrooms. |

A small door on the groundfloor leads to the spacious downstair living room and the formal dining room. Comfortably furnished with sofas and chairs, this area is next to the garden and is the place where to relax enjoying the cool sea breeze.
The garden grows lemon, fig and cherry trees and palms in the mild Ligurian climate.
The small pool 5x3m , equipped with swimming upstream, is furnished with sundeck chairs for sunbathing.
Two maid service is included in the villa rental three times during the week and a cook is available upon request.
Children from 2-12 yrs of age are not accepted unless accompanied by nanny. For small babies there is a crib available. |
Between
Portovenere and Levanto, along a 15 kms area, lies the enchanting
scenery of the Cinque Terre.
The sound of the sea waves dashing against the rocks and the intense
perfumes of myrtle, oleanders, lemons, pines and Mediterranean maquis
make this area one of the most suggestive of Italy.
The 5 villages hold art treasures and offer a natural and tasty
cuisine and famous wines.
In 1999 this 4,200 hectares territory, inhabited by five thousand
people, has been included in the Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre
(National Park of the Cinque Terre). |

Come
there by train and walk up and down the footpaths along the dry walls,
and enjoy the enchanting panoramas over the blue sea. The paths
of the Cinque Terre and of Liguria's Eastern Riviera - about twenty
- represent for nature lovers an interesting way to know and appreciate
this territory (estimated time required: 3 hours, altitude 314 m). |

first floor: with kitchen+dining room, the frescoceiling room
second floor: with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroomsrooms the 2 terraces and garden are included .
-NORMAL RATES:FROM 5 TO 8 PAX: WITH GARDEN FLOOR INCLUDED ( in the garden floor there is beautifull large dining room with a table for 12 pax ) |
