On the promontory of CIRCEO, so named by the Homer's Odyssey sorceress CIRCE enchanting ULYSSES, we find
the small nice town of San Felice.
The promontory falls onto the sea and on both sides it shows very long exclusive white shore, wet by clean
water. The wide uncontaminated forest behind the mountain, has in fact become the National Park of Circeo in the sixties. |

 |
This very nice town has a friendly yet distinguished atmosphere, due to the fact that upper class families, mainly from Rome, found it perfect for nature and distance, so they built their villas and are used to spend in San Felice their summer holidays, mainly in august.
Villa Patricia is located in the village of Lacona/Circeo, close
to the sea and just on the foot of the mountain, where the town of
Circeo becomes "Lacona", and where villas, cottages and shops
reserve quiet and comfortable holidays. |
| The villa has a garden with a small barbecue and two cars can be securely parked there.
A staircase leads to the terrace with the main entrance to the
house.
The terrace is spacious and furnished with table and chairs, beach
umbrella and deck chair.

Although being
part of a bigger house, the villa is fully private and secluded,
with enough room for parking and relaxing in the shadow of
high trees and rank vegetation: a micro garden worth to be admired
for the care used by the owners.
The livingroom, with french door opening onto the terrace, has a dining
area and a sitting area with fireplace. |
When the
wide French door is opened, the livingroom and the terrace become
a very comfortable unit.
A large sliding window with a door are decorated with much taste
and represent the hatch to the kitchen, with a large working base, so useful to prepare meals and lay dishes. |

The location
of this villa is very good, being in the centre of the village,
in walking distance from the sea, supermarkets, shops, bar, banks
and plenty of restaurants some of which "gourmet". There are also many bathing stations along the sea-front, very well organized and some of them exclusive.
The villa is very well furnished and kept by the owners, a Roman family that usually spends
there their august holidays and all week ends - but ready to consider
guests' inquiries - it was well projected by the owners's daughter,
Architect, and was built at the end of twenties with the aim to display all comforts
for a relaxing and amusing long period of vacation. |
| 10 kms further the fishermen village of Sperlonga with the ruins
of the villa of the Emperor Tiberius where the Laocoonte sculpture
was found, can be visited.
Only 15 kilometres far is Terracina with its extraordinary
Roman temple of Jupiter Anxur on its Pisco Montano.
San Felice is positioned in between the unmissable towns of Rome and Naples, at daily visit distances (around 100 kms)
All the coast is rich of fun and nightlife when required, although a vacation here can be as well quiet and reserved in one's privacy. |

Not far
is a riding center and just out of the town of San Felice the National
Park of Circeo with its guided visits to the forest.
On the other side of the promontory there are white
sand dunes between the lake (flamingos in spring up to beginning
June) and sea, down to the Sabaudia village. On the lake canoes' rental
is available.Within 30 km reach. visits to Ninfa botanic garden,
Fossanova Abbey and the nice town of Sermoneta.
Hydrofoils (one hour) and motorships sail daily from the harbours
of San Felice and Terracina towards the wonderful island of Ponza. Not to be missed a visit to all the Pontine Islands, with Ponza itself, but also Ventotene, Palmarola, Santo Stefano and Zannone (sea preservation areas) |
