On the hills north-east of Verona, only 15 km from the centre of the town, a very small village, where the sound of a cattle bell is not unusual, is steeped in the green of pastures and forests.

The area has the scent of a past time, lived by small farmers from whom it is not improbable to buy cheese and sausages produced for their family consumption .

The house, once dwelling of the Castaldi family, has been completely restructured in 2001 in full respect of the local tradition.

On the ground floor are the kitchen, the dining room, the drawing-room and a small bath.

The kitchen is well equipped with a gas stove, electrical oven, microwaves oven, fridge with freezer.

The dining room is embellished by a hearth - firewood is supplied free of charge - and in the drawing room a hi-fi system is available to the guests.

Through the original stone staircase there is access to the sleeping area on the first floor, where two double bedrooms, one twin and one single can sleep 7 people.

Each bedroom has en-suite bathroom with shower, equipped with hair dryer, and a beautiful sightseeing on the valley.

The rustic furniture is the right complement in harmony with the rural characteristic of the area.

Outdoor there is a portico equipped with garden furniture, barbecue and lights. All the surrounding property is accessible to the guests.

A bike (helmet and insurance included) with or without a guide for excursions, a shatzu and/or bioenergetics massage and a visits to the cheese and salami workrooms around, can be requested on booking, as well as a maid.

The guests are kindly requested to smoke in the dining room only.
