The Tower  sleeps

Long time ago - already mentioned in
the beginning of the 18th century but much older - the tower was
a silent guard in the valley, part of a large estate in the outskirts
of Verona. |
Carefully
restored and pleasantly furnished it is now a beautiful holiday
house, a good base where at the end of a trip to Lessinia natural
park or a visit to close art places or a dip in Garda lake, you
will relax in the peace under the pergola, a terrace open to olives
and cherry trees. ... scents, fragrances, colours and flavours of
the hills. Verona downtown is roughly 12 km away with a marvellous Arena full of activity during the summer and the most famous balcony of the world, under which the modern Giulietta and Romeos come from all over the world to live a dream and now, some months ago the mayor gave his availibility, to marry too.
The farm develops on 55-hectares, consisting
of fields and mainly woods. The woods are only a small part of
the 900 hectares woods rich of fauna and vegetation with paths for
trekking.
Guidebooks are available in the house. |

The area is lived by small farmers
from whom it is not improbable to buy cheese and sausages produced
for their family consumption.The owner lives in the near main building,
in 50 metres distance. |
THE
HOUSE
On the ground floor the Kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge and
freezer, a bathroom and, outdoor, the pergola with barbecue in the
garden for a drink or dinner "al fresco".
On the first floor a large living room with a hearth.
On the 2nd floor a double bedroom.
On the 3rd floor a twin bedroom.
The house is airy and fresh in Summer and the hearth heat enough
even in cold months.
