The quietness, the beauty of the place and the most suggestive cities in Tuscany and Umbria, like Assisi, Perugia, Todi, Spoleto at short distance, convinced the owner, a gentle lady living in Rome, to build here her beautiful "buen retiro", the Winter Garden, a lovely villa where to spend fantastic holiday periods at an hour time from the Capital.

The villa is situated in the heart of Umbria region, with the nearest village at 2 kms and Narni at 15 kms. on a hill side ovelooking a gentle valley, with wide spaces around, olve trees and oaks. It has been built accordingly to the traditional rural style, with first class fixtures, as wooden beamed ceilings, cotto floorings, antique furniture and countrystyle high quality textiles, which give to the whole a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere.
The villa can sleep in total 6 people.

A well cared 12x6m pool, entirely surrounded by green, with shower aside, is equipped with sundeck chairs, gazebo with table and chairs.
The garden is very large, about 8000 sqm, with fruit trees, oaks and 60 olive trees, giving extra virgin olive oil production for home use. An oven for pizza and barbecue are there to give the guests the opportunities to prepare home made traditional meals and the well equipped patio is the perfect place for al fresco dinners.
Both the garden and the pool are taken care by a gardener. |
The villa is on one level and has two living rooms with fireplace, one of which is often used for cooking, a dining room with well equipped kitchen, an utility room and the romantic winter garden.
The kitchen has microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and all the necessary cutlery and pottery for a pleasant stay. |

In the living room a TvSat and stereo are available. No telephone or ADSL.
As far as the private areas, the villa has one double bedroom with canopy, one suite with two double beds, one of which on a furnished mezzanine and two bathrooms, one with shower and the other with the Jacuzzi. |
The villa is centrally heated and comfortably furnished and equipped. The lady owner will be glad to give italian cooking lessons, for extra charge, upon request.Extra cleaning can be arranged and to be paid accordingly.
The cars can be parked in the property, close to the villa. which is not enclosed by walls, to preserve the beauty and the magican view.
