Located in the south of the Tuscan province of Siena, in a gentle valley, surrounded by 2500 acres estate belonged to an ancient Abbey, flanking the park of the Val d'Orcia, LA RADURA, a late XIX/XX cent farmhouse, was carefully recently restored to become an elegant, old Tuscan charm, spacious and totally independent villla, a delightfully rural base for visiting Tuscany and Umbria.

The Abbey and its country church, now restored, is in walking distance.
The very spacious and refined house interior, offers a surprising combination of old fashion and contemporary design. Two fireplaces offer the chance of enjoying two separate living rooms suitable for reading and relaxing.
Old trees giving a pleasant shadow during the day protect the privacy of the garden and the swimming pool (6x12 Mt.).

Each bedroom has a phone and an en suite bath and hair dryer. Phone extension in each room. Two hours of cleaning daily and a mid-week linen change are included in the cost.

At the Abbey, in short distance, guest can arrange the use of a fax, e-mail, sauna, exercise room, mountain bike, fishing equipment.

Cooking service for breakfast, lunch and dinner may be requested directly on-site with 48 hours advance notice. Better if booked before the arriving.

Sarteano with shops is 15 minutes away by car. Chiusi, within 20 minutes drive, has trains that reach Rome or Florence in an hour and is near the highway.

An internal spiral stairs leads to the first floor.

Dressing room with shower in front of the swimming pool, a small workhouse for garden equipment and a stones staircase leading from the garden to the first floor.

The house is available weekly from Saturday afternoon (S p.m.) to Saturday morning (11 a.m.) all the year.
