This beautiful
villa was built in XVIII century and in 2004 has gone under a complete
restoration.
It displays 380 sqm on three floors and it can easily host up to
12 people.
Situated above a sunny valley, in a hamlet at minutes from Lucca, with olive
trees, vineyards, cypresses and woods, this villa shows a lovely
400 sqm garden, equipped with a big table and deck chairs and with
barbecue. The 4 x 10 mt swimming pool is heated . |
Two living rooms, an elegant dining room and a fully equipped kitchen
are on ground floor.
The private areas take the remaining 2 floors and consist of 2 double
and 4 twin/double bedrooms, spacious and airy, completed with 6
bathrooms.
The house is comfortably furnished with good taste, colours and
fittings choosen with taste and much care.

The village
is a lovely, well kept fraction of the famous medieval town of Lucca,
a city that has kept along the centuries its fortified walls almost
intact.
They have now lost their protection purpose, becoming the charming
"roundtown promenade" for the inhabitants and visitors.

FREE TIME
Rich of trattorias and restaurants, the area is wellknown for its
cuisine.
To be recommended is also a taste to the local typical products,
such as the extra virgin olive oil, considered among the best produced
in Italy, the many DOC wines, the spelt and the chestnut flour,
which was used instead of wheat and which is the main ingredient
for the delicious cake "castagnaccio."
Lucca is the Tuscan town with the richest number of opulent villas
built in the 18th and 19th century, mostly open to be visited.
We recommed that the guests take sometime to visit the Lucchesia,
with its villas and palaces, noble families residences. |

Guest will have a wide choice of
places to visit, among the important churches, the roman amphitheater,
the Tower, and obviously all the other beautiful artistic and naturalistic
spots in Tuscany, easily reachable for day trips.
Lucca is also the birthday place of the worldwide famous composer
Giacomo Puccini, whose house can be visited.
Every summer Lucca hosts the music Lucca Summer Festival and more
cultural events take place in the area.
DISTANCES:
The hamlet Pieve di Brancoli: in walking distance
Lucca: 9 km
The beach and the elegant promenade of Forte Dei Marmi or Pisa and
Pistoia are few km away, half an hour drive more or less.
Montecatini Terme, the famous SPA, is few minutes away.
Florence 60 Km (35 miles).
