San Marco beach, one of the best, is 6 km away.
Sciacca is famous for its Thermal SPAS
The house is on one level, with a surface of about 65 mqs, and a 12 sqm. porch. It is composed of a bedroom, a bathroom with shower, a store room with washer, a small corridor, the living room with fireplace and kitchen.

Built in 1997, the house is in good conditions and has wood beamed ceiling.
The kitchen is modern, with refrigerator, freezer, a cooker with four fires, a gas oven, a toaster, the boiler and all necessary (pots, flat, silver wares, glasses, cups, cups, etc, everything new).
In the livingroom there is a table with chairs, a piece of furniture, a quinn size sofabed and a to a plaza and half and a pouffe convertible into a single bed.

The fireplace is working and during winter the owner supplies firewood. In the bedroom there is a double bed and a closet of the beginning of last century.
The house has a television and ceiling fan in the livingroom. A ventilator is also in the bedroom. The heating is with electric devices, for extra.
The house has enough space for four people, and was always considered from the preceding guests a very pleasant place, a small heaven two kms only from the city center.
By the pictures the house can apper isolated but in fact it is 200 m from other residences lived during the whole year.

The outside space is equipped with table, beach umbrella, chairs, and sun beds.

The south western part of Sicily is often referred to as African Sicily, both for the climate and the proximity to the Tunisian coast.
This part of the country boasts some of the most extensive olive and grape production in Sicily, so the local oil and wine are not to be missed!

THE PORT

The Sciacca's 30 kilometres coastline offers the visitor the greatest imaginable variety of marine environments: large sandy beaches, sheer cliffs and remote tiny beaches, off the beaten track
San Marco beach, Sovareto beach, Timpi russi beach offer opportunities for swimming, snorkelling, sailing, windsurfing and have panoramic views of the coast for miles away.
Sea water is usually on the cool side due to the channel stream.
Biking, trekking and boat trips can be taken from the harbour.

The best sandy beach of the area is on the nearby coast " Eraclea Minoa".
Fresh fish as good wine and also a variety of traditional shops offering hand painted local pottery can be purchased at the shopping centre for reasonable price (1 mile away) few good restaurants are within a short distance.

Throughout alleys and little squares of the port area and the town center there are many restaurants, all specialized with delicious (sea-)food. Winding stairways, narrow little streets and alleys, window are filled with the inevitable geraniums.

The real heart of the town centre is steeped in history and ancient architecture of Moorish, and baroque style, ancient alleyways and courtyards. A labyrinth of houses and streets, some of which can be narrow enough to fit only a single person at a time.
Gelato lovers take note: The "granita" in Sciacca is widely regarded as one of the best in Italy, other sciacca desserts are cassata, cannoli with ricotta cheese and finally arancini (rice balls with ragù sauce).
Sciacca is a very safe place you can go anywhere for a good night, you will find locals warm and friendly.

In addition to the indented coastline, Sciacca has also a gentle healthy climate which makes it an ideal place for health cures thermal spa complex and public pool with hot water. The thermal Piscine, costs the princely sum of € 5 for a day.
Less than 2 miles from the property, at the end of the road, Monte Kronio with its natural steam and a spectacular view of mountains and the Mediterranean Sea.

Regional bus service in Sciacca provides regular connections for Palermo, Trapani and Agrigento which can be reached in less than two hours. The train service is very poor.
A car is needed to visit the most important sites and monuments of the island, since the most famous are spread around the island, and the different areas each have their own unique attractions.
Roads are OK. Try to avoid Catania and Palermo and you'll find that driving around Sicily is not easy but the best way.
The privilege of being in a central coastal position means that many other parts of the island can easily be reached.
