The apartment is on the second floor (no lift,
sorry) of a palace of the 13th Century completely restored, in the
small Medieval port
of Gaeta.
The small apartment has a surface of sqm 45 (500 sqf), is in very
good conditions and has a small panoramic end. In the livingroom
can sleep two people on a sofabed French size and a puff-single
bed. The dining area has table and chairs for 4, a kitchenette is
in a separated small area with sliding door, a double bedroom is
well furnished with the essential and a bathroom has a shower. In
total 4 sleeps or 5 when with children, but with the risk to be
overcrowded. |

Simply but comfortably equipped, the house has:
Tv (no sat, sorry), washing machine, cooker with 2 gas burners +
1 electrical slab and oven, -a small small refrigerator, independent
heating (warm water and heating)
The house is nice, simple but handy and well equipped with modern
furnishing designed and realized just on the apartment dimentions,
on the whole very pleasant and with enough grade of comfort.

The closest beaches are Serapo (1 km
about) with possibility to take the bus (200 mt far the head of
the local and district's lines), all around every possible and shop
(supermarket, butcher shop, tobacco and newspaper shop, four bars,
trattorias/pizzerias and simple pizza shops, pubs, etc…).
The headline bus stop in medieval Gaeta can be the point of departure
for excursions in the outskirts of the Gaeta's Bay, being directly
connected in few minutes with the railway station in Formia (half
way between Rome and Naples) where are the bus lines for the Cassino
Abbey or other localities of cultural historical interest (Terracina,
Sperlonga, the archaeological zone of Minturno, etc.).

On the wharf in front of the house is also possible
to embark on the ferry to Formia (2 miles on the other side of the
Bay) from which ferries depart every day during summer to the beautiful
of Ischia, Ponza and Ventotene.
The apartment is available from May to end September.
During summer nights, particularly in July and August the square
has much life and just not far, the cafè "La Francese"
is always very crowded with the youth of the coast.
