The
Quiet Knoll is a stone Farmhouse of the 18th Century, few km from
Castellina in Chianti and Greve, the centre of the real the Chianti
Classico Gallo Nero. The farmhouse was recently completely renovated
and restored by its owners who reside, year round, at the property.

bedroom and a large living/dining-room.

doors from both rooms open directly to the spacious private garden
with a vine covered pergola where a large stone table seats 6 persons.

Includes: one bedroom with two antique carved twin beds (can be
made one large bed), a spacious bathroom with walk-in-shower and
a large living/dining room with a working fireplace.

In one corner a fully equipped kitchenette. Stairs lead to an upper
landing with two additional twin beds. The swimming pool is just
around the corner with deck chairs and umbrellas. Central Heating
is available during the cold season. Satellite TV - Telephone
SERENITY
This newly restored apartment is on the South side of the building,
next to the studio-apartment "REPOSE", and close to the
swimming-pool.

There is one bedroom with a large queen-sized bed, bathroom with
shower and a lovely living room with a fully equipped kitchenette.
It is perfect for two. SAT TV.
It has its own, shaded garden, with hedges dividing this private
space from the Olive Grove. Beautiful view onto the hills of Chianti
and Siena.
REPOSE
This is a studio apartment with an antique wrought-iron double bed,
bathroom and kitchenette, Telephone, TV.

The swimming pool is just around the corner with deck chairs and
umbrellas.
Central Heating is available during the cold season.
Both apartments are fully comforted, during the cool season there
is independent central heating. Washing machine available.

The large property has only those 3 holiday apartments for 2 and 2+ 2 and gives
guaranty of privacy and perfect relaxation to people who want to
get away from the crowd. All apartments have Satellite TV while
a fax and ADSL internet service is available in the office. The
small charming village of Castellina in Chianti, with its shops
and restaurants, is only 5 km away and the location is perfect as
base to visit the historical cities of Siena, Florence, San Gimignano
and Volterra. Rome, Caput Mundi, is 280 km far. |

The property is
sorrounded by over 1500 olive trees and has a beautiful vineyard.
Excellent Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Chianti Classico wine are produced
in the farm and can be purchased directly from the owners.
The Ugolino Golf Club, an 18-hole golf course, is available just
outside of Florence and a smaller 9-hole course is available at
Colle Val d'Elsa.
Horse riding is available 10 km away, in Staggia Senese.

The large swimming-pool
- 14 x 6 meters - about 45' x 18 ' - with panoramic view has been
recently built. A shower, a dressing-room and a restroom are nerrby
it for your convenience.
The owners are ready to arrange lunch or dinner for guests upon
request.

Apartments are rented by
the week. Shorter stays are welcome during the off season.
Besides flying into Rome or Milan's major airports, Florence has
a smaller airport connected to most of Europe's main hubs (Paris,
Frankfurt, London etc.) allowing for convenient connections from
North America, Asia and other global locations.
Budget airlines, such as Ryanair and Easyjet, fly into Pisa International
Airport, located 90 km from the farmhouse. |
