The valley of Farfa is

sweeping down to the banks of river Farfa, with an uncontaminated
nature, Roman villas, Medieval castles, and the mystic Carolingian
Abbey of Farfa. A landscape where the supreme protagonist and witness
is the olive tree: a symbol of peace, a main ingredient in the Mediterranean

| Situated in the green valley
of Farfa , snuggled in the hills, in a quiet position, at only 2 km
from the village Castelnuovo di Farfa, Casale Macerine
has a beautiful view of the Carolingian Abbey of Farfa and of the
village Fara Sabina. It is a typical farmhouse built at the beginning
of last century, restored three years ago, with beamed ceilings and
terracotta floors. |

The owners, a group of
friends that live in Rome, use to reach the farmhouse to spend their
holidays and week-ends, amusing themselves in building the furniture,
restoring and painting windows and doors with enthusiasm and very
good taste. The atmosphere given to the house is rustic but really
warm and cheerful. |
Casale Macerine is divided into two apartments completely
independent, with separate entrances and each with its own external
private area : " La Quercia" with its Dependance and"Il
Cipresso".
