The Hamlet
Entering in the Hamlet through the gate, to the left is the
Castle, with a fountain gurgling in the front courtyard.
The buildings to the right house two families working on the estate
as well as the stables, the granary, the watchtower and the Casa
del Buttero
, an apartment for rent. |

Formerly a hunting residence, the 18th century
Castle consists of two blocks: two linked buildings exact replicas
of one another.
One of the blocks is a 350 sqm holiday house with private swimmingpool,
and the other twin is the residence of the owners of the estate,
the Prince Corsini.
Both residences have full privacy.

The Castle was always the house of this family that took much
care in choosing the furnishing, the paintings and all the details
in the course of centuries.
Most rooms on the ground floor have large fireplaces, as does the
kitchen.

THE CASTLE - 350 sqm, 7 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms,

The ground floor - rich of colored carpets, antiques, family pictures
on the wall and ancient tiled floors, in a warm and pleasant atmosphere
- consists of a large living room with a hearth and at least a total
of 10 sits sofas, a T.V. and music room and a spacious dining room
with table and chairs for 10 follow each other on the opposite side
of the hearth. |
The fully restored kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing
machine.
On the same floor are located two twin bedrooms and two bathrooms,one
with shower and the other other with bath and head-shower.

A door opens onto a staircase with beautiful frescos
that leads to the first floor where are two double bedrooms, 2 twin
bedrooms, one of which with a washbasin in the room, a single room
with washbasin and two bathrooms, one with bath and shower, the
other with shower.
The patio at the front of the house, with its wisteria covered pergola,
is a wonderful place to escape the heat of the summer.

On the opposite side of the house is the garden with its lemon
and palms trees. A pathway through the garden leads to the swimming
pool.
The view from the garden and the house looks onto silvery olive
groves, over the plain and, in distance, to the sea. |

In front of the house, a terraced garden, orange tree garden and
a private pool 9x4,50x1,50.
The house is surrounded by woods, olive groves and vineyards, affording
shade in the summer months and privacy all year round |
Wild boar, porcupines,
roebucks, tortoises, birds and badgers live undisturbed in the undergrowth
of this estate. The house is equipped with a dishwasher, a washing
machine, telephone, TV, CD player.
Maid service, a personal chef to prepare you local specialties,
and crib/high chair for newborns are all available upon request.

The Castle
is just one kilometer from the nearest town center and 10 kilometers
from the enchanting hilltop villages of Capalbio and Albinia. In
the vicinities of the fief, undiscovered jewel such as several Archeological
Etruscan sites and the charming villages Manciano and Pitigliano
are in easy reach. |
