La Pergola (The bower) is a villa in a hilly panoramic position on
the ridge of the Saint Martino alla Palma hill, 230 metres O S L,
10 km far from the Florence Centre and 600 metres out of the village
of San Martino alla Palma where are a Post office, a grocery, a butcher's
shop and a good pizzeria/trattoria. |
Its stunning position offers one of the most evocative panoramas
on the Florentine plain.
Completely dipped in the green, La Pergola offers many possibilities
of trekking on typical paths on the hills between vineyards, olive
groves and small woods offering, in season, mushrooms and berries.

In the large
garden there are a swimming pool (6x12) working from May to end
September and a Jacuzzi for 8 person with heated water.
Both of them overlook one the most evocative panoramas which covers
in 180 degrees the Florentine and Prato plain.

the cupola of the Dome of Saint Giovanni is clearly visible.
In front of the villa the stop of the bus 61
that leads to Scandicci in 10 minutes.
