Ruota is
a very small village on the hills of the Pisa district, 370 m. on
the Sea level between Lucca and Pisa.
The property is in the outskirts of the village, in walking distance
(bikes are available) from the Bar, the grocery and Post office.
Sunk in the typical hilly landscape of Tuscany, Ruota is the ideal
place to spend a holiday in the midst of uncontaminated nature and
arts. |
The woods are just around the property.
Ideal for a stay wishing to alternate walks across the Pisa district
woods with trekking or excursions on the Apennine Mountains or lazy
days at the seaside on the splendid Tyrrhenian coast or cultural
days in the close towns of Pisa, Lucca and Florence.
In the nearest village, Colle di Compito, 5 km far, pizzerias, supermarket,
tennis court, bank, and all kind of shops. |

A small
lake to fish is 8 km far.
The Sea of the Versilia is 30 km. far.
The farmhouse was restored in the 1.999 year both in reconstruction
and in furnishing, using some antiques belonged to the family. A
very simple but comfortable property.
The farmhouse is on 3 floors. |
On the ground floor
the apartment Don Aldo Mei, sqm 60, on the first floor the apartment
lived by the owners and on the second floor (access by its own staircase)
the apartment Assunta, sqm 70.
Each apartment has its own private access and a high grade of privacy
is assured to the guests.
All apartments have a TV set, iron and washing machine. Bikes are
available for extra. The owner can arrange, on request, real good
Tuscan dinners and tasting for the guests. |

ASSUNTA, sleeps 4+2
From a private area in the garden, equipped with furniture (table,
chairs, beech chairs) and a stone barbecue, a stone staircase leads
to the second floor, to the door of the apartment Assunta which
gives access to the wide living room with kitchen corner, dining
area, fireplace and double sofa bed. Two double bedrooms, a bathroom
with shower cabin. |
