Along the route of the old "Via Francigena", 140 km about from Rome, a complex of 4 restored old buildings, all very near to each other whilst each one is entirely independent, built in stone, volcanic tuff and wood, consist of 6 apartments each one separate and independent.

The surrounding area is typical agricultural, with streams, hills, woodland, grape-wines and orchards. Very close to Tuscany and "Monte Amiata" and to the wonderful lake of Bolsena, SPIGHE is a good base for visiting the splendid historical towns of Umbria and Tuscany.

Orvieto is 25 km away, San Casciano Bagni 15 km, Siena 80 km and Bolsena Lake 22 km.

Ground floor consists of an entrance hall leading into the living-room with fireplace, open plan kitchen, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, a sofa bed is in the living room, one bathroom with shower, TV.

The furniture is rustic style with beautiful wrought-iron beds. Both bedrooms are decorated with very interesting authentic red bricks.

A very handy staircase takes you up to the first floor where the kitchen is separate, with a big fireplace. The entrance leads directly into the living room. One bathroom with shower, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, a sofa double bed is in the living room.

The furniture is rustic style with beautiful wrought-iron beds.

In a small building not far away from the main villa, on the ground floor the entrance hall, kitchen with fireplace, one double bedroom, one bathroom with shower, TV, rustic style furniture with wrought-iron beds.

San Giuseppe 4 sleeps 4+2

This is the nearest villa to the roadside (Via Cassia) on the first floor passing a very handy Staircase, a large kitchen living room with fireplace. There are one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, one sofa bed in the living room and rustic style furniture with wrought iron-beds.

Vigneti 5 spleeps 2+1

Next door to San Giuseppe is this villa "I Vigneti". On the first floor there is a small apartment with Kitchen-living room with fireplace, one bedroom furnished with walnut furniture, one bathroom with shower, T.V.

Vigneti 6 sleeps 2+2

Close to Vigneti 5, on the first floor, is connected another apartment which consists of an entrance hall, living room, kitchen with fireplace. One bathroom with shower, one double bedroom, one sofa bed in the living room.

The Taverna is Included in the San Giustino villa, available on reservation at the price of Euro 55 per day. This is an absolute dream conserving all the original gothic style columns, all built in brick and volcanic tuff.
With its own large kitchen it is about 120 sq.m. and is ideal for dancing and parties.
