in winter, both apartments communicate with a wide fenced garden,

of Belluno. The area is rich in beeches and fir-trees. economical
resources of the inhabitants are the silvi-pastoral activities,
the wood-handicraft and the quarrying of building material.
This is a touristy district, suitable for both the summer holidays
and the winter holidays.
From the property one can walk to the mount Cavallo or to the mount
Pizzoc to enjoy the beautiful sights or reach |
the
S. Croce lake where it is possible to practice the aquatic sports,
or the forest of Consiglio, which, due to the very abundant production
of wood, was exploited already in 1400 by the Republic of Venice
to build the oars for its very powerful navy. The forest is also
named "bosco da reme", i.e. "wood for oars".
In that forest there are some plants for skiing during the winter. In the village you also can admire
many "murales" (wall paintings), besides visiting the
different exhibitions.
|
 |
 |
The town hall organizes each summer the summer pedestrian isle (so
called vetrine d'estate) to emphasize the touristy offer of the
place. The central square of the village is closed to the traffic
and there are some wooden cottages which are used to promote and
sell local products and there is also a playground place for the
children. From the dolada refuge, 1494 m. o.s.l.,
a fine view over the alpago valley is enjoyable.
|
Close to the refuge there is a place for those who are keen of flying
"deltaplane" and "parapendio".
You will have only the embarrassment of choosing one of the pubs,
restaurants, pizzerias and shops in the area.
In this area there is also the golf club Consiglio, a beautiful
18 holes field.Due top its southerly exposure, the
climate is generally mildAirports: Venezia-Tessera: Marco Polo
