Villa Bellavista sleeps 10 -LUXURY Castelgandolfo

Bellavista is an imposing villa in pure Liberty Style of the 19th century on a 4260 square meters garden. A stone throw from Rome, it overlooks the lake of Castelgandolfo, just in front of the Pope’s summer house. All around the characteristic green slopes embracing the small beautiful lake.

DESCRIPTION: Ground floor : a very large entry hall opens on 3 bedrooms, all with en suite bathroom, all comfortably large, one measuring 25 sq. meters. Black green and orange marble, oak parquet and details chosen tastely and with much care. First floor : the staircase lays to a entry hall from which there is access to a kitchenette and to the master bedroom that measures 36 sqm, in fact a small apartment where 20 sqm are covered by the bedroom an 16 sqm by a large en-suite library. A big fireplace gives warmth to the ensamble. A large en-suite bathroom has Jacuzzi and separate toilets.

A French window opens on the 40 sqm panoramic terrace where you’ll enjoy a spectacular view on the lake and on the village of CastelGandolfo. From the small tower, accessible through a nice spiral staircase, or from the terrace which covers it, also accessible through a second spiral staircase you’ll enjoy the best view on the lake, on the village, on Rome and on the sea, weather permitting. A white marble staircase leads from the entry hall on the ground floor to the lower floor. A 100 sq m room with vaults, frescos and marble flooring for events and dinners.

A large kitchen, a half bath and a laundry are on the same floor. French windows open on a panoramic terrace over the lake. A staircase brings from the living room down to the tavern with vaulted ceiling, with a porch at side from which is access to the wine cellar. The swimmingpool measures 16 x 8 – 1,30 to 2,80 deep.

A shower and two toilets are available to the guests. A BBQ and pizza oven are equipped with sink and all necessary for cooking, in fact a small pool/kitchen. At side of the pool is a 90 sq m kiosk and the whole area enjoy a wonderfull view over the lake. The gardener’s house is on the side of the house is on 2 level with equipped kitchen, a living room with fire place and dining area, 1 bedroom with a bathroom and a small terrace.
